FYI, for a custom labour styled queen with battle damage. You could splinter the jaw with a bezel/drill. Install acidic pain apps applied along hot glue for a drizzle effect. Then epoxy mix a clay mold to build a base for some egg sack. Reapply filler to it after, obviously with the correct color. Then finish off with more of the aforementioned drizzle effect using hot glue as a slime starter 👌
Great review, i already have the OG queen so I won’t be getting a brown version. But she still seems cool. Maybe if she had a head gimmick or some accessories I would consider but I feel like it’s too much of a missed opportunity.

I have the " Aliens " Queen figure and she's magnificent as you already know and I'm just going to stick with her although the Resurrection Queen is incredibly impressive aswel! There's been this debate about what colour the Xenomorph Warrior Alien color should be as in the movie they're actually more of a brown color, so I'm kind of wondering what color the Queen should be? Should she be blue & grey, or should she be brown? The explanation for the Xenomorphs being brown in Aliens is because they were meant to rapidly evolved to fit the environment of the planet, but the Queen in Aliens looked more blue & grey? I'm not certain that there is a definitive answer? Great review and thank you for going to such great lengths to show all of us fans how fantastic these figures are! 👌🏻👍🏻🤝🏻.
Thanks for watching! In terms of the color debate, I think it’s mostly up in the air. I don’t think there’s much lore substance to it, I think it’s just what color the filmmakers wanted the Queen and Xenos to be. Although it’s fun to theorize why they may or may not be a certain color dependent on their environment.
The Resurrection Queen has slightly altered foot articulation, the original couldn’t walk on her toes because they could only bend 90°, whereas the Resurrection Queen can bend her toes 180°. They probably did this because the high heel extensions on the back of her foot couldn’t take the strain, i know mine have bent over the years
She's never meant to stand on her "high heels", they're more like spikes. They're just adornments. She's meant to stand completely tippy-toed with super-arched feet.

This is an excellent and thorough review. Since you have both the blue and brown Queens, which one is the BETTER LOOKING one? (i.e. which one has the best visual "oomph" when you look at it?).

The blue one is neat and it’s really nostalgic because of the original film, but the blue is undermined by the brown (unless you have the blue Queen fighting the Power Loader like me). About two years ago, I got a used blue Queen on ebay, but the seller didn't use any packing material when he shipped and just crammed all folded up in a small box, so it was damaged. I sent it back, but when I had it, I thought the blue Queen looked toy-like and not scary. The brown Queen looks a lot better and looks scary (in ALIENS, the blue Queen is seen only in the dark, so the blue isn't a factor, but in room light, the Neca blue Queen doesn't look scary compared to the brown Queen. This is one of the few models I have in which the real thing is better looking than NECA's promotional photos. And lastly, the guy who designed the joints for the six spine spikes and inner mouths should be horse-whipped.

That’s why the old McFarlane Queen still holds up - she was a mix of black & blue that matched the scenes where she was shown in the dark in the film.
what did u use to cut the coat hanger? im planning to pose her higher but still in the t-rex position cause as of now the is kinda being blocked by my dog and isolation alien, did i underestimate the size of the regular xenomorph.

Hey bud, sorry for the late reply. Not really looking to sell anything at the moment. But those Warriors, mainly the reissues, are still floating around on the internet I bet.
Stiletto feet are a pain to look at. Functionally annoying as well. From the crest to the torso, everything is slideshow tier amazing. Just those skimppy legs and stripper heels. Ruins the bio organic realism seen in big chap. Movie accurate though I guess.
personally i dont like the t-rex design of her, with the two stumpy arms and the trex posture of her, but other than that i think cameron made a very cool looking design, my issues with the neca versions though is how hard they seem to be able to pose, i feel like it would probably a better idea for me to just save up and buy the maquette sideshow one.

I used sharp pliers to cut em’. T-rex position is definitely a challenge but worth it.
