You have done a great job on that boat, buddy. Definitely keep an eye on that opti. Don't disregard the warnings. Those options can be a headache if you're not used to working on one. Their simple once you understand them. I have become very close to my 225 opti over the past few years fixin things.
Tip: To prime the oil tank you start the engine and crack open the cap on top of the tank. It's positive pressure fed and will fill on it's own from the bilge tank. Fill till it's 100% full as the level fluctuates as your running it and it can trigger the alarm if it's not 100% full at idle. Also, the 4 beep alarm means nothing specific. As you did with Vessel View you need that or SmartCraft to view the actual codes. And there is a water temp sensor. Run the engine at idle on muffs and monitor temps with vessel view. At 143F the thermostats should open. That's their operating temp. You can also pull them and test in boiling water. They're at the top/rear of the block. May need to loosen the fuel rails (not take them off, just loosen and pull away a little) to get to the thermostat housing covers. Another you can check is the poppet valve which is on the starboard side behind the relay stack. Relay stack unbolts, can be moved to the side. Poppet cover is there. A rebuild of that is cheap and I recommend doing it.
Your old codes from whenever you ran it? Might need to be cleared? Before everything is clear and showing all good? For over heating maby? Put your hand up on the heads on both sides and see if one side is really hot, might be a stuck thermostat?
That tank has the level sensor in it. It was beeping 4 times with the old tank because of a bad sensor in the old tank. The sensors are built into the tank and are not a serviceable item. If it’s not beeping it’s working. Those codes if like a obdII on a vehicle will be stored until cleared.
Take the opti to the dealer and let them clear the codes... once cleared, you can run the boat to see what actually shows up on your vessel view... some may even go on the water with you and run the boat on the actual computer. They can literally watch everything the motor does as you run it.
U can always get rid of the oil can and premix the gas them oil pumps go out and when then do the motor blows because u usually don’t know till it’s to late lol
I have a guy that fishes my tournaments that has no use of his legs. And he has two of the same seats, one for the running seats and one on the back deck that he straps in with safety belts. I did notice that the cockpit seat had the back of the seat all the way down and screwed In place, with the seat part sets in front of the back rest. It looked good and fit him perfectly.
Maybe an idea could be using spray can foam (gap fillers) to inject some some on the top of the seats, probably through a small hole in the seam. This might help to form the top of the seat to a much appealing look. Looking forward to see the boat performing in the water!
Tip for the led strips u have there going to be very bright I found that out the hard way which isn’t bad but I’d suggest getting a dimmer switch on Amazon there nice to have.
I have an older 1994 Yamaha two-stroke 115 horsepower, I don't get the codes like you do though from what you mentioned with the coolant temp sensor code and possible overheating, maybe try running the engine with the sensor pulled out or unplug and see if you are still getting the code. My V4 cylinder has a engine temp sensor at the top of both heads next to the thermostat housing, my alarm buzzer was going off the engine wasn't overheating but the sensor was bad and was throwing signal at too low a temp. Test the sensor in hot water with multimeter. Hope it helps
Look up seats for this boat, $1700+ if you can find them. otherwise, I was looking at $700 plus for basic not matching, non-mountable seats. Did it with basscat such a waist of money
I know you are on a budget, but it’s like the old adage says, you get what you pay for, those seats looks great now but let them get wet a couple times and sit out in the weather and it will be faded and mildewed up. I could have took your original seats and made them look good as new without much issue.
I think just take your motor to a mechanic to make sure but yeah it’s probably because of the year that there are warning signs that those things are not working
Nice, but those seats are not designed for marine environment and they won't last long... blah blah blah... just kidding of course! Everything is looking great. I hope your engine will work perfectly during your first trial. A good a reliable engine is a key factor. I agree with the other people who said you should clear the error codes in order to see if they appear again or not. Don't play with security, ask a mechanic if you have any doubt. I know you're on a budget but sometimes a small amount of money helps saving a huge repair cost! Looking forward to see the next video.
I respect that haha but just cuz there’s cheaper doesn’t mean they work, it’s part of making videos I find enjoyment in taking something that nobody’s done and seeing what it turns into. It’s more fun that way
Totally disagree! I find his videos to be a really great mix. In fact, I was completely shocked when I discovered that this was a relatively new channel the didn’t have TONS of subs. It will be that way soon.

making me want this exact model stratos more and more lol. cant hardly find anything similar close to me for a reasonable price
Looking forward for that console redoing my bass tracker in the winter
Hopefully the boat goes faster than 35! You got short end of the stick on that bass cat not running at least 55-60. That didn't make sense to me.
They look Like the new seats in Rangers

I'd like to know how long those seats will last being in a marine environment as well 🤔
You and I both
Car seats, genius!
Great on the console, I need one made for my Nitro!

Still can't catch fish for 💩! 🤣 Looks great!
Tryna challenge me to a fish dual 🥷🥷🥷
At the start, bass boat seats are not 2000... theyre like 250 on the lower end cause I almost got some before I blew my old boats motor

That tool is a Tap, cuts threads
clear the codes and see if they come back they may be old codes that won't go away until you clear them
Those are stored codes. You can erase them and see if they return
Why Didn't You Get Boats Seats For A Stratos Bass Boat
Literally said why in the first 30sec 🥸
@@TightlineTV Not If You Order Them On Amazon

Kawn-sole. I have no idea what you’re saying.
All left to do is spray water proofing on the seats

I think leaving the seats full height would have been OK too.
Not for my net man 🤣
A tap.
Your motor wasnt peeing

How about you shut the hell up
