Good to see both of you doing videos together. You are such an inspiration to all young people. Happy to see Maya in Kenya… Welcome to Kenya Maya…. Great Love to trumaya….looking forward to see Maya cruising and showcasing Kenya to the world.
Hello from Tanzania 🇹🇿, being a fan of both of you since then. At this time,i think Kenya and Tanzania have a lot of similar things. Just trying to imagine Ugali with salt 😂😂😂 anyway, keep enjoying guys. Welcome to Tanzania 🇹🇿.
I’m Jamaican and we cook our cornmeal with salt, butter and or coconut milk and codfish; then seasoned with skellion and thyme. It’s like a complete dish can eat without meat.
Yes the Jamaican version of Ugali called tun-cornmeal is very similar and can be eaten by itself. The good old days in St. Elizabeth Jamaica. I actually made tun-cornmeal for my Kenyan friend the other day when he visited me in the USA and he liked it. He had it with tea.
@@MissTrudyy you visited Jamaica and no one gave you that? Surprised. Anyway I love the Kenyan ugali very very much with greens. It is very healthy as it is cooked with any seasoning. Hence the best digestion I have ever had in my life was eating ugali. It went down so well. This is why I am moving to Kenya for good 2025. Not Ghana Wode Maya but Kenya the glorious land
I can’t wait to see this amazing content when I get off work. Thank you Miss Trudy and Wode Maya you both give me joy and smiles and I really enjoy this content. Blessings you both.
I enjoyed this video. Please do this from time to time, you both together is such fun. Not feeling well today, but you put a big smile on my face king and queen.👑👑🇹🇹🇺🇸
In Zambia we do not add salt when cooking nshima or ugali but South africans they put salt in nsima and the other thing i have seen is in Zambia we don't eat uncooked onion and tomatoes The third thing is , when eating nsima they should a plate of vegetable .
Hi the Maya's family. I am a Kenyan married to a West African man. When we got married, I was not a pepper person, but now, I am just like them,!!!😂😂😂🎉
Hey miss Trudy and Maya I love watching you guys together..😂all that salt that’s high blood pressure on purpose 😂the dinner looks delicious ..blessings to you both 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇺🇸
Ms Trudy, let him add salt. It is his way of cooking. In SA, we put a little Salt in pap (ugai). I can eat ugali with or without salt. They just taste different
Miss Trudy look much happier now than when she was in Ghana but maybe is because she is much closer to her dad but always remember if you don't feel happy don't feel that bad because the Bible tell us to leave and cleave.
Very hard to make friends with Ghanaians always speaking twi and they gossip a lot too. Locals barely understand English but well she have to adapt find Church like Scoan Ghana and attend because it of many national
@@MissTrudyyno I will not try this. I can tell it doesn't have that unique well cooked aroma. That sadza didn't simmer yooo. The way you made in the beginning ,😮 I nearly fainted😂😂🇿🇼
How we cooked it in Zimbabwe is like this also, boil water then slowly pour the Cornmeal whilst simultaneously using uphehlo, a whisk like spoon to mix in order to prevent lumps. Really not a long process. Being very careful to avoid being burned by jumping porridge. The method Miss Trudy mentioned is just another way.
In 🇯🇲 that how I make Turn Cornmeal. But we use yellow cornmeal. I add salt, pepper, butter. And I have even seen people cook it with meat. My grandma made the best turn cornmeal. And we also cook it as dinner for our dogs as well
Miss Trudy. We are watching from Jamaica. Love you loads. Love the vibes. Keen loving our boy. We love you both. Maya you are an excellent cook. Good looking good.
all staple foods were survival foods, Kenyans eat the original and simplest form of them all, they will always sense when something is off with their food.
