I had a 2020 and the exhaust actually touched the swingarm when on it's kick but yours will definitely make contact when that rear suspension extends which would be any bump or hard braking.....maybe even some light braking, there really is no room
Thanks for confirming. I thought I was doing something wrong at first. Looks like they just need to adjust the location and length of the mounting bracket by about 10mm. 👍👍
I got a 22 r1 and a same exhaust. I was gonna ask you if you put on the exhaust after your break in but you already answered my question at the beginning of the video lol. I guess ill be doing the same as I can’t wait to install it on mine. Anyways, have u flashed ur ecu yet? If so where did you get it flashed? Btw your integrated lights, is that the blaster x one? And where did you get ur license plate bracket?
I have not flashed the ecu yet, but will probably do it in the next couple of months. The engine is definitely not very smooth at lower RPMs and it will be good to kick off the fans at lower temp. The taillight is the blaster X and the bracket is off eBay: www.ebay.com/itm/332664430385?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=bqCex4wPQda&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=ZYB8BTpESSe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY I hope that link worked. If not, search for “Yamaha R1 R1S R1M Fender eliminator BLACK FRONT FACING NTS 2015 - 2022 P/L” The seller is Creese1 👍👍
Ah also… don’t forget to get the servobuddy and get rid of the servo motor: www.ebay.com/itm/252982545099?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=jLq-a9srQIu&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=ZYB8BTpESSe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
It’s definitely a louder exhaust, but sounds fantastic. Ridden hard for a period of time, your ears will ring, so I would recommend ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones. 👍
Do you find it interferes with the rider or passenger foot pegs at all?
Not at all
Beauty thanks! After a ton of research, I ordered mine last week. Excited to get it installed. 😊
@ it’s an awesome exhaust… had a dual one on my 2012 and had to get one for the 21 👍👍

Hows the volume, your ears are still good?

Take out that baffle!
there is no baffle in this exhaust
