IGNIS, ASTRA, LUNA, SOL, LETHALITY
Chronicgamer36 put aether and vengeance in instead of sol and Luna
Nah. In that order, Sol & Lethality would be the only relevant ones.
Ignis applies either half the wielder's Mag to physical damage or half the unit's Str to magical damage.
Astra cuts damage in half (rounding down if necessary) and makes five attacks.
Luna, in Awakening, halves either the defender's Def if the wielder uses a physical attack or Res if a magical attack.
Sol, in Awakening, heals the wielder for half the damage inflicted, rounded down. Any damage in excess of the defender's remaining HP is disregarded.
Lethality inflicts damage equal to the defender's remaining HP.
Because Lethality sets its damage equal to that of the defender's remaining HP, Ignis, Astra, and Luna are rendered useless.
That said, there is a priority system in place for these powerful offensive skills. The order in which Awakening rolls for skill activation is: Lethality, Aether, Astra, Sol, Luna, Ignis, and finally Vengeance. Using the skills you suggested, this priority ordering, and disregarding Awakening's one-offensive-skill-at-a-time code, the following would occur:
Lethality would activate. Damage would be set to the target's remaining HP.
Astra would activate. Five potential hits, with each hit dealing half the target's remaining HP.
If Sol activates on all five of Astra's hits, you'll be healed for up to 50% of the target's remaining HP before that first hit. I say "up to" because numbers in FE almost always round down to the nearest integer, and I say "up to 50%" because any damage which would place the target into negative HP values is disregarded for all purposes; if the defender were somehow able to heal, however, that maximum recovery value rises to 125% of the target's remaining HP as it was when this devastating attack would occur.
If Luna activates on all five of Astra's hits, the target's relevant defensive stat will also be halved. Note that, due to the priority system, Sol would not count this additional damage.
If Ignis also activates on all five of Astra's hits, you'll add half your opposite offensive stat to damage. See the note on Luna for Ignis's interaction with Sol.
It'll only take a maximum of two hits for that obscenity to kill someone. No wonder IS coded Awakening and Fates such that only one offensive skill can activate on any given swing…

How do Astra and Lethality work? Astra lowers the damage of each individual hit, yet Lethality is... well, Lethality
@@rokr0001 But... The pure adrenaline of watching it happen would be so awesome. Honestly, I wish they had at least let Astra trigger other offensive skills on attack. That would have made Owain feel even more chuuniibyo than he already was. Besides, he already has access to 3 mastery skills without accounting for the father, and Miracle.
And yes, I am an Owain/Odin fan for those wondering. I like the character concept, and IS decided to make a character like that who starts as a Myrmidon. Swordmaster is my favourite class (I don't care if they're bad in whatever game they're in, I always bring at least one into any map), so Owain is just perfect for me.

Edward is the ULTIMATE shonen story of Fire Emblem. He comes from nothing, everyone makes fun of him because he is kidda dum. But in the end, he will muster the strengh and courage to face GODS! I almost brim him to the ending everytimes. Love this kid! XD

Only on availability. Stat wise everyone admits that Edward soundly wins (Seriously IS, 60% Str growth on a myrmidon?), however I will admit that availability actually matters in this game so if you care about LTC or rank this is true.
The tandem of Edward and Nolan are my "meat grinders" - they will cleave through anything that gets in their way. Best team in the game for me HANDS DOWN. I can always rely on them. Nolan's Earth affinity gives an enviable avoid bonus to Edward. The bad guys can't hit what they can't see!
If Edward is one of the best DB characters for you, you clearly haven't used Jill.

+Joshua Potter In Radiant Dawn every class has one mastery skill and only that mastery skill. In Awakening each class had a Mastery Skill but you could get multiple Mastery Skills. This Video shows Edward using multiple Master skills at one time. I can see the connection ;).

I don't know why it was in my recommended, but as a non-FE-player, I wanted to know how you "combo" in what I thought was a standard, turn-based tactical RPG. At least, that's what it was when I played the GBA games halfway through...
Presumably so I’ve watched it in the past and this reappeared in my recommended. Honestly this video was a part of my motivation to play radiant dawn/path of radiance. Then I realized how different they were from other fe titles and how much less I enjoyed them. Weirdly Bonus EXP is probably my least favorite mechanic in the game because of how much it constricts possible play styles. Weird novelties like playing shadow dragon with a team of generics, racing through fe1 in an Ironman doing incredible wacky things to mess around, playing fates using only second gen units, playing through a randomizer, or reverse recruitment feel a lot more fun to me.

Not because of the constant skill procs, or the activation of of Wrath and Resolve at full health, or even the fact that Edward has Sol and Luna, two skills that are both impossible to put on a Trueblade and too big to fit on the same Skill Wheel as all these other skills.
But because someone actually brought a member of the Dawn Brigade to Endgame.
I used the whole dawn brigade and the greil mercenaries on my first playthrough of the game. I'm sure a lot of people did so too

Um... You do realize that Edward is a great unit in general, right? Like really great. For any other member of the dawn brigade, I'd agree, but not Edward. He's really good. I always bring him with me to endgame tbh. I also just love him in general.

For starters, he’s not even the best investment in the initial Dawn Brigade because Nolan wields Axes (best weapon type in Tellius) and can easily patch accuracy problems through forging. The DB also gets Zihark, who performs just as well with significantly less investment, and if you want to bring a trueblade into the tower then you have Mia, so you don’t miss out on much by not using Edward. Now you could send him some of your resources… or you could just dump them all into Jill because she flies and uses Axes.

I love how he fully healed by the end, down to the exact amount.
I like how the critical hit sounds became normal hit sounds over time. It was like the game just accepted that Edward procing these skills was the norm.

He's faaaaaaaaaar from the best one. Even 6 years ago he wasn't. He has big availability issues, and then he's competing with Zihark and Mia. He's also in the same series as the likes of Rutger and Ryoma.

You guys can bruh me all you want. But genuenly think this game surpasses 3 house By a Whoooole mile. From lovable characters to an amazing story and exciting gameplay. Oh and Who could forget the animation!? God i wish i could play this on my switch
Part 2 was good (generally well received by most players even back then)
Part 1 was ok typical FE story.
Part 3 was going for an epic but had some weird execution issues. Respectable but can have legit criticism to why what they were trying to do didn't work.
Part 4 was just plain weird.
Before Fates took on that role, FE10 was narratively the weakest due to certain plot threads like the blood pact having no actual believability in the world in how it works other than a reason for Daein to have it's hand forced.
While you can love the game, just as I do, there are many flaws FE10 does have. In gameplay, so much so they had to give a battle save because they renamed hard mode to normal during localization (misleading most players). Even causing issues with Easy Mode import freezes that they had to send new patchrd discs to players who had that issue. There's also the free promotes to third tier without the need for a master crown. No FE has had as many localization gameplay changes.

Edelgard's methods are basically acceptable within her circumstances, her path however....ehhh. No idea as to why or how they manage to get rid of the agarthians (those who slither in the dark) when they have nukes and no mentions of the King Nemesis reviving.....for some reason.
Dimitri having to suffer survival guilt, although it's normal (from my perspective at least) for him to have it. the deaths of the father's knight sacrifice was....dumb. The knight (Felix's dad) survive many wars but he dies to a simple dagger. it ain't even a magic dagger like the one Jeralt suffered. just a normal knife...piercing armor.

Rhea is crazy. Most of her followers are simps and after the final mission in Edelgard's path and the time Solom betrayed the church. I lost all respect i had for the characters. Also i don't understand why concealing information to the ONLY person who can use the sword of the creator AND being a vessel for Sothis is a good idea. And many have already have stated the absolute horror that Family tree line has become.
I understand many games have flaws and sometimes they don't execute the story very well. That much is normal in all games. I also understand that this game has a complex story including the blood pact (and the war that caused the amulet to almost break, and Micaiah's innocence which caused an unnecessary battle, but i guess it fits her? She ain't Celica levels of dumb but i wouldn't forgive an enemy in the middle of persecution). But at least for me, this game is more approachable then......the absolute maze runner story that is 3 Houses, so many paths and lore's in each path. So many characters changes in each path, although thankful for the variety, sweet lord is it so much to digest and remember all in the same time.
I know the gameplay also has flaws, like the difficulty level being different, normal being hard. Though it isn't that much of a deal to me since, if you like jrpg's, sometimes when localizing the translator team can f up (One time i was playing DQ4 with the translation on since i was on the jp version and could not find the english version. Kamikaze was named Popped in that translation so i used it and killed myself. I had to get out of the dungeon and take note of it).
tldr; I'll take it since playing 3 Houses is like playing checkers on an 10x10 battlefield that tends to bombard you with all this information of lore and foreshadowing. that and teh gameplay is......boring. Like not even that every attack is the same in terms of animations (dash and slash, das it, the occasional different animation of doing a spin attack from HW Link). THEN YOU HAVE SCAILING, it's a normal scale, you don't have to worry that much if you just grind for eternity with every student you have. but then they summon multiple enemies that the game tells you to avoid and you can kill them.......after grinding for like 3 days at least. that Marriane side stroy was no joke. Like no cap? it's not super easy but it's boring. There's challenge in there, just no incentive to keep moving forward and do the challenge. There's also to many overhyped moments that lead to disappointment, the sword of the creator, can cuts mountains in half, you use it, it's a whip. It's Ivy's Whip from Soul Calibur given a more threatening look. a Levin sword does a better job then that SotC. Then you have crest that either buff you or heal you. das it, our crest is just a bad version of Sol. I only manage to activate the crest of 3 times in both Black eagle and Golden Deer. The crest ARE an interesting topic and idea of how a blessing from a goddess to help defeat the Agarthans have been turned into a glorified trophy relic. That was fine, and i like it, but only Edelgard and Claude's path give more importance to them.
tldr; this is a 3 Houses rant, you don't have to read all of it. The major points are.
1. It's fine at least it's not complex
2. Translation is not a big issue as well, not the first game that did it to me so i'm fine with it.
3. 3 Houses content is....well divisive and unapproachable to some. But since it has a persona aesthetic, many people will give it a go

You also can't activate Astra, Luna, and Sol together. Neither can Astra crit. Nor can you even activate skills against Mantle. Neither can you regular critical with them unless it's a triangle attack.
