Today marks my one year ownership with my 2021 Dodge Charger Hellcat. In this video I talk about what I change on the car and how it has held up over the past 12 months.

Absolutely beautiful! Man! I even own one and I'm still amazed on how great these look! Looks like liquid glass too. Ceramic coating is absolutely the way to go. We'll done, simply awesome. Congrats!
Thanks my brother.., no lie sometimes I take the car for granted and I’ll drive somewhere and see a Widebody scat or hellcat and miss my car lol.. when I don’t drive it often n I go in garage to look at it I’m like dam this thing is mean lol
@David in HD HA! I know the feeling, what used to be a quick 5 minute run to the store is now 30 minutes. I still can't believe I own one, crazy. I've been blessed to have ridden and even drive some amazing rides and I'm still amazed I've got this bad machine. Congrats again! We are truly blessed! Enjoy every day and be thankful 🙏!

PPF is a must, if it wasn’t so expensive I would have did the whole car. The tires are so wide the shoot rocks up the side of the car SMH
How is your internal carpet holding up? I got the Weathertech mats all the way around and in the trunk and they kept my R/T immaculate. They have transitioned and followed us into our new vehicle and a hit of either tire shine or Armor All shine them and the interior up nicely.

Yeah there’s only one thing I would change this for and it’s over priced right now. What are your thoughts on the Charger Daytona (EV)?
The only thing I would get is a 2023 BMW M3 Competition
@@DavidinHD1 what would you trade for? For the EV - I like what I saw. Willing to remain open minded and see pricing and power numbers etc. I thought they nailed the design for a new 2 door charger - I love V8’s but if I’m gonna drive an EV I’ll drive that one
@@GuysTalkingCars I love the design and would be willing to get one if the price is right. I refuse to pay markups like people are doing now a days. Right now the only car I would change my car for is a 2023 BMW M3 Competition

The space consideration is one of the largest elements of Charger ownership that is a forgotten soldier in the war on reason to get into one. We put on more than 100k miles in just 3.5 years on our R/T and it WAS the family Shuttlecraft - with FUCKIN' ATTITUDE. There's nothing like the ownership of it across any other segment of vehicle that commands attention spans, delivers power and SATISFIES. What a grand ride, and welcome to a year-in, friend. Can't wait to see more!

We kept our R/T STOCK for the most part. Wasn't easy, but man - there's some superb satisfaction from seeing what was given and will deliver when you give it the chance. In your talking about "what else you might want" - after the recent accident that totaled our R/T (got hit in the back driver's side wheel at an intersection, everyone's fine and was saved by the impressive safety abilities from the Charger) - the protection it gave us, along with all of the satisfaction my family got from it (and now, what the Raven deilvers) - it was an easy choice - but even easier to know that there's nothing else for us.
Am surprised in the engine bay - that you've not yet chosen to go with a coolant reservoir cover (on the middle right) either in carbon to foster the look of the intake or - on the right side - are those two fuseboxes? My R/T and now this GT both have an area that I've also covered with a black plastic cap/add-on that just cleans up the area and makes it so there aren't holes in the spaces under the hood. There's also a piece that reshapes the hood latch area - that is included in a three pack that I purchased (one on the left, one in the center, one on the right) that I recommend.
The knobs are a nice accent. I dig that. The Blacktop'd version I got is DEVOID of color inside with the exception of the gauge cluster "reds". We just ordered custom heated Katzskin seats with some tasteful orange accents. Beyond a nice pop of color, the heated seats will help prevent ME from being popped in the head by my wife when the winter/cold horseshit arriveth. ;)
Bless you for not being a fan of always-loud exhaust. Far too rare and appreciated from this side of the fandom arena. The concept of being able to have a conversation with someone while sitting in the car both inside and outside is overlooked far too often.

The rub there might be some simple rubber grommets/washers that help prevent the gnashing together of those elements of the engine. That intake looks TERRIFIC, thick and - I'm insanely curious about a "rain guard" and how Washington State has long periods of rainlessness. Interesting...
Lowering springs or a rear diffuser?

Man congrats, what color did you get? I’ve heard a lot of peoples orders that are being placed right now for 22 are being cancelled 😡
@@DavidinHD1 Smoke Show with black pkg. I ordered back November and was suppose to be here in June, then last week now it's Wed. Lol so we'll see. Yea a buddy said his was canceled and upgraded to a 23 but was offered the exact same car he ordered but was in another state so he took that offer. Lucky him.
