Hagar was seeing angels on a daily basis in Avram’s tent…so Sarai cruelly disconnected her with that sense of Holiness…which you say she set out to get by learning with Sarai and Avram…and measure for measure, HaShem granted her direct connection to Him after Sarai tried to cut Hagar off from it….I press you on this issue because it seems to me that the whole of Torah rests on rachamim and overcoming selfishness and turning toward that which is loving…
