Very nice, started to learn the electric guitar two months ago. MoP was one of my motivations, trying to learn it as well piece by piece, but quite difficult. Hope one day I'll be able to perform as well as you do :) in my shorts section you can check out some pieces I've recorded last month, soon I'll add some more.
Best song to work up to the down-picking speed which actually is the reason I can down-pick the whole thing is live wire by Mötley Crüe it was probably one of my favourite songs to play and helped me very much.

@@RealFemto rhythm is riffs/chords, helping keep time and playing under lead parts, keeping rhythm. Lead is more solo sections or playing a lick or lead line over a riff. Kirk is the lead guitarist and James the rhythm
