This video has been extremely helpful, thank you for being here to help all of us newbies. Call of Cthulhu is an amazing system with all of its flexibility and how moldable it is to Keepers and their playstyle. It really makes each experience unique and mysterious.

    Great video, funny and informative!
Call of Cthulhu, indeed any roleplaying game, can be daunting for beginners.

Thank you! I agree, RPGs are definitely daunting. Especially when you tell someone they'll be sitting at a table for 4 hours and using their imaginations the whole time. The general concept is a hard sell but so rewarding when someone gives it a shot and loves it!

Definitely have to come back to this video within the week. I've played dnd 5e for a few years now and played one game of CoC earlier this month I believe and want to try a session for Halloween. Thinking of one of the door of darkness ones. This will be my first time being a keeper for CoC

@@XPLovecat No :( I can't seem to get anyone to play anything anymore. At the risk of aging myself I started playing DnD 2nd edition with a good core group of 6 total. We played a lot and I miss it so badly. I've been watching DnD videos in droves lately and I'm determined to play again. I just heard of CoM the other day from Runesmith (great DnD creator IMO, check him out). I've always loved the game structure, but with my love to write and spin yarns it's always been the RP and the storytelling I was really hooked to. CoM seems like that's the main focus. Im very piqued.
