I bought the 2022 W800 for retirement country road riding. Great quality and ride. If I didn't have the 800, I'd consider this bike for trips to town around the neighborhood and slow backroad rides.

Great minds think alike! This in a 500/600 version would make a great gateway drug for their W800 range. I'm in Australia and a 500 version of this would almost certainly be learner approved and have an appeal to older riders. With a bit more go than an SR400 and RE Comet 350, Kawasaki would make a real impact in the lower cost commuter bike market.

It goes great I've done 80,000ks on it in nine years
I've got it ripped apart at the moment but I'm hoping to get it back together in the next few weeks
Had it rebored to fourth oversize new valves new cam cam chain and cam chain sprockets and a heaps of other new things to go into it
It looked to be in surprisingly good condition when I ripped it apart, it had a bit of a rattle I couldn't tune out of it but it was just wear on the tips of valve stems and one of the valves strangely had a sleeve installed that was worn and probably added to the noise
I hope to paint the frame tomorrow or Sunday

@@bacorable Yeah I don't even care for 2-strokes for things like weed trimmers, push mowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, snowmobiles, and motorcycles that do nothing but just go around in circles in the back yard.

It takes 400cc to be legal and use a motorcycle 🏍️ on the freeway.
Other than that, what is it good for?
