I actually like Mike & Mei together as a couple. However, I was disappointed that it wasn't Nathan & Elizabeth that got married in S11. But of course they marry support characters faster in HV community than the writers will marry the main couple in this case Nathan and Elizabeth. Plus, I think Lindsay was hired by Hallmark execs and the WCTH co-creators to break up Elizabeth & Lucas in S10 & get Nathan & Elizabeth together as a couple in S11 as two people deeply in love with each other. However, Lindsay is waiting on marriage to give space between Elizabeth & Lucas' safe relationship, safe love for Elizabeth & Nathan & Elizabeth's great, true love with Nathan. That's also why we had time jump into the future in S11. Around 8 months passed before Lucas had come back from CC to HV in S11 at Nathan's birthday party. Probably about 11 months by S11, episode 12 as school is starting back up according to an interview with LS in S12. Elizabeth & Lucas wedding date was October 1920 that Elizabeth broke up with Lucas 3 weeks before the wedding. Instead Lucas was voted governor on the day that would have been his wedding day if Elizabeth hadn't broken up with him. So, my guess it's September 1921 at the start of S12 with school back in session.
Plus we saw the time date jump into the future based on Goldie's age at end of S10 and seeing the baby Goldie in S11 walking when we first saw Goldie. So, she was like 11 months than in S11, episode 6 she had her 1st birthday! So yes when Lucas came to town 8 months had passed. Then it was around 11 months into the future by S11, episode 12. So, it's almost a year later at the start on S12 as LS said there is no time jump in S12. We start at where we left off in S11, episode 12 according to Lindsay with Hargraves talking to Elizabeth about her late husband, Jack.

Yes, everyone who is #NathanAndElizabeth as a couple fans are hoping they marry in S12! I also hope after Lucas gets a redemption story for his shady past, Lucas will get a redemption story. Then Lucas is a successful governor. I hope Lucas gets a new woman, a new character introduced by the end of S12 that becomes his new girlfriend in CC. Hopefully a beautiful, sassy city woman.

I actually want to see a contrast between Nathan & Elizabeth's relationship & Mike & Mei's relationship with Mike & Mei having some marital problems as they married each other so fast, but don't know each other quite as well as they should for being a married couple. On the contrary, I want to see Nathan & Elizabeth conquer everything thrown at them as a loving team together as a courting couple including whatever Hargraves throws at them. I hope we see a short courtship for Nathan and Elizabeth. Then Nathan & Elizabeth marry + blended their family raising Allie & Jack Jr together! ❤

I think it will be smooth sailing especially as they are not the main couple .But I hope they have an interesting story,
I think N & E will have problems that need solving & I don’t think they will marry this season.
I’m just saying that from some stuff I heard & didn’t sound that they will marry.
