I’m so glad you liked the video and thank you for your comment :) I totally understand where you’re coming from. The idea that Elizabeth spent over two years in a relationship with someone she didn’t love is pretty dark and quite frankly upsetting. Although I think they could have made it clearer, I think they actually did try to show that she had loved Lucas (she talks retrospectively about loving Lucas in S10E12, and S11E5), which is why he was the one she chose to spend the rest of her life with after concluding Nathan wasn’t an option. It was because the relationship mattered to her that she tried her best to make it work, and when they realized the best thing for both of them was to part ways she felt “sad but at peace too” (S10E12). I’ve actually made a video on this topic using some of those scenes - it’s called “Time Heals All Wounds But Your Wounds Cut So Deep” if you’re interested :)

​@@laissalgueiropohlmann904I'm sorry you are experiencing disappointment that Hallmark, BB, ML Jr. & the WCTH writing team broke up Elizabeth & Lucas in S10. Personally, I think Nathan & Elizabeth have a deeper connection, a stronger bond & better chemistry too than E had with L. I'm glad Nathan & Elizabeth are finally a couple after S11. I might be Team Nathan for Elizabeth, but I like the character Lucas too. I think L will get a good storyline in Capital City as governor. L will get a redemption storyline for his past & then end up a successful governor. I am TN for Nathan Grant and Elizabeth Thorton be a couple & married, but I want good storylines for Lucas Bouchard too. I am a fan of both Kevin McGarry and Chris McNally. But to me this show has always been about a mountie/teacher relationship. We just had a detour after E rejected N out of fear in S8. So in S9 & S10 N & E's relationship was friendship. Then finally it transitioned from a solid, strong friendship & connection +love to a solid, strong romance & deep true love for Nathan and Elizabeth. I also feel Nathan and Elizabeth just have more in common & stronger bond than Elizabeth had with Lucas. For Elizabeth, Lucas was a safe relationship a safe love. Then Lucas kept his mysterious past from Elizabeth all S6-S10 and then Lucas past was exposed by Jeanette in S11. Lucas put Elizabeth in danger twice because of his past. But Lucas is still the 3rd main character since S6-11. But the love triangle is over in my opinion. Nathan and Elizabeth are ENdgame. 💕 My hope is BB, ML Jr do a wcth spin off show after WCTH S12 for governor Lucas in Capital City with a new CC community of cast/characters for CC. I want Henry to work for Lucas. I want Henry and Lucas to become best friends like Bill is Nathan's best friend. Also, Lucas did ask Lee if he will work for him.....if Lee says Yes to Lucas will Lee, Rosemary & Goldie move to CC? I want to see Lucas date a sassy city woman. Hopefully she will be his true, great love. 😉❤ Then we get Nathan & Elizabeth's storyline in HV in WCTH S13 and all the rest of the HV community! I want to see blended family storylines and Nathan & Elizabeth's romance in a marriage relationship. ❤ 😊 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

I want great storylines for both Lucas and Nathan. Both actors deserve to be leading men on their own shows. So,I hope CM gets a spin off show as Lucas Bouchard in CC. KM is the leading man as Nathan Grant with EK's character Elizabeth Thorton in HV for WCTH. 😉🙂

I actually want to see a contrast between Nathan & Elizabeth's relationship & Mike & Mei's relationship with Mike & Mei having some marital problems as they married each other so fast, but don't know each other quite as well as they should for being a married couple. On the contrary, I want to see Nathan & Elizabeth conquer everything thrown at them as a loving team together as a courting couple including whatever Hargraves throws at them. I hope we see a short courtship for Nathan and Elizabeth. Then Nathan & Elizabeth marry + blended their family raising Allie & Jack Jr together! ❤

I’m just saying that from some stuff I heard & didn’t sound that they will marry.

Yes, everyone who is #NathanAndElizabeth as a couple fans are hoping they marry in S12! I also hope after Lucas gets a redemption story for his shady past, Lucas will get a redemption story. Then Lucas is a successful governor. I hope Lucas gets a new woman, a new character introduced by the end of S12 that becomes his new girlfriend in CC. Hopefully a beautiful, sassy city woman.
