  • @cantusaurus8530
    @cantusaurus8530 3 года назад +1

    I recently got a purple fire fish, and I heard prior that they were very hardy, and they are, I was very surprised how fast he got used to the tank, the main thing is just having a cave or something that he can bolt to (and that isn’t occupied by another fish) if he gets scared and to help him acclimate and reduce stress, I had a really large shell, and that’s his home for the night, and he has shown very little signs of stress

    Good list! I have a 32 gallon tank that I’ve had for about 3 months, and I love my yellow watchman goby! I showed my mom the clip of you saying “old grumpy face” because she actually named it grumpy. I also have a ruby red scooter Blenny, I don’t think they are very hard to care for, I put some copepods in and he’s thriving, and I’m gonna try and get him to eat prepared food. But also the ruby red scooters only get about 2.5 inches which is good, but they are absolutely stunning

    • @hallb7415
      @hallb7415 4 года назад +1

      Look for Fairy and Flashers specifically. They're (typically) extremely reef-safe, with the exception that some may nip at clam mantles, and can easily be kept in harems in tanks.
      Carpenters wrasse
      Lubbocks fairy wrasse
      Scott's fairy wrasse
      Hawaiian Flame wrasse
      Ruby Head fairy wrasse
      Blue Throat Fairy wrasse
      Redfin wrasse
      Exquisite Fairy wrasse
      Naokos fairy wrasse
      Yellowfin flasher wrasse
      Blue flasher wrasse
      Pintail fairy wrasse
      Longfin fairy wrasse
      Hooded fairy wrasse
      etc

    • @sunnygoold9449
      @sunnygoold9449 3 года назад +1

      @@supriyajha5933 not an expert... but no ;) Unless you have a massive tank I would only ever get 1 from the basslet / grouper / perch sort of group (so that covers them). If you already have an orchid dottyback just stick with that... it's a great fish (I like them better than the gramma by a small margin but I think they are more aggressive). If you want yellow (in a small tank) add in a yellow coris wrasse - halichores chrysus (my spelling will be wrong;)

    The dragonet is a beautiful fish. I had a green mandrian dragonet I loved. He sadly passed when we had our ich outbreak a couple months back. Now that the Tank has been treated and cleared without an ich problem I am looking into populating the tank with tiger pods and then getting another one of these beautiful fish. It’s one of my favorite fish.
