Ego has had one for years… seems like Ryobi always keeps switching battery platforms too.

I didn’t know that Ego had a multi tool system. I will have to check that out. Ryobi has been tweaking their battery platforms. True. This one is 40v which gives me the coverage to finish the whole yard on one charge. Thanks so much for watching!

@@FieldGuidetoDIY yeah if I remember correctly ego was probably one of the first to come out with a multi tool system… the power head is pretty bulky kinda heavy… but if you want 1 tool that does everything it’s pretty cool

Ryobi is known for keeping the compatability and NOT changing their battery...in their 18 volt ecosystem. This tool is also available in 18v ....not just 40. Also the Ryobi Expand-It system is widely compatable with other attachment capable brands including Craftsman, Snapper, TrimmerPlus, and more.

@@FieldGuidetoDIY Don't get me wrong, I use electric devices at my home as well. They're convenient. I had to have part of my shoulder replaced and can't pull start a lawn mower so I bought an electric mower.

@@Fluffi_Bunni I didn’t even think of the ease of starting of the electric devices. Thanks for the reminder!

@@FieldGuidetoDIY I gifted my mother and father the Ryobi set, my dad is 86 and my mother is 79 and they love it, the gas powered ones are way to heavy and hard to use, thanks for posting the video, love it.

@@FieldGuidetoDIY You never see anything in an ad for things like this for ease for any age to use, it's all about brand and some use. You're welcome.
