I’ve never disliked anyone as much as AH.. especially someone I don’t even know. Her deception and bullying is despicable. She’s an embarrassment to women and discredits all women who have been REAL domestic violence victims.

Absolutely! The fact is, the high profile nature of this case-- of such a horrible, obnoxious, narcissistic, sociopathic woman, ends up hurting women who actually do experience domestic abuse, and it puts a greater burden on them to be believed. She was living in such a comfortable, luxurious environment, (OMG, just thinking about her shitting on his side of the bed 😱)and we know that JD has no history of abuse with any of his previous relationships. I have always felt guilty for leaving my children's father due to his extreme jealousy and rage. I never gave him a single reason to feel that way, and he finally admitted to me over a decade into the relationship that he was obsessed with thoughts of sex with other women, as a matter of fact, with EVERY woman he ever spoke to! Still, I wasn't jealous as long as he didn't act out on such thoughts. But the rage - screaming accusations, breaking things, even kicked a hole into the wall from outside, that stuff scared me because I was afraid that those things were substitutions for me. (My son has is now 35 and lives with me because he's Bipolar and has extreme mood disorder and takes it out on me.) So I see someone like this and wonder what kind of delusional world they must live in.

and this comment should have more likes, goes to show we've got a lot of work to do surrounding DV as a whole, devoid of the biological sex argument. I feel like when we say "men can be victims too." We need to stop putting qualifiers on who can or cannot be a victim and just focus on the fact that assault and other forms of violence are illegal. You're correct, she should absolutely be in jail. The injury alone can have substantial impacts on his career, let alone the defamation. However this lands, I hope for some form of accountability and AH is required to get into a comprehensive treatment program for maladaptive personality types. I think BPD can be massively improved if the person gets help. Not diagnosing her, but it appears so. Wondering if he'd throw her a bone if she agreed to get help such as maybe lowering that 50 million adjudication? Just a thought.

The entitlement of celebrities comes to mind when hearing this testimony. Of course the homeowner had insurance, but it’s crazy how self-absorbed you have to be to cause so much damage to another person’s property, no matter what kind of problem you think you’re having at the time. What an inconvenience to get the damage repaired. Really selfish. I also feel for the staff who cater to these people: cleaning up blood, worrying about making the flight while they finish their “important” phone calls, catering to their whims and bad behavior. He's famous for smashing up hotel rooms and rental places and even his own homes. Famous. He loved to tell the stories himself. That sort of thing used to be considered sort of anti-establishment but Depp is still living in the early 80's and clearly he didn't get the memo that that's not cool anymore. None of it's cool -- having the most expensive and biggest *everything* on earth is no longer cool. Texting friends that you took more drugs than anyone else could consume -- likewise, old-man corny. Bragging about spending fifty thousand dollars a month on wine? Who drank that? Amber's hangers' on or the security guards? It's not like they had anything nice in their lives. Amber is a master manipulator, somewhat delusional and it's obvious, by her body language, that she can easily disassociate from reality. When she can't control the situation with these 'skills', she has a melt down (then accuses others). The scary part about these individuals, is they often don't register how unusual their behaviour is or how it impacts others. I don't think it is as simple as "she doesn't care"...
