I felt such bitter sweetness stumbling upon your channel watching Fallout 4 Frost long after indulging myself on Bethesda's latest RPGs and other Let's Plays. Too burnt out from that type of to content to appreciate what is truly the most well crafted form of it anywhere on the internet. But now, with this new game, with *NEW CONTENT!!!* I can finally appreciate your art without foresight, without spoilers into the game stealing so much potential enjoyment from your videos. For sure I felt the same way I have almost 6 days in game and I got so tired of defending the game to people who have just started the game does start out slow but he does such a good job at making it entertaining every time I see one of his role plays I want to go play that game especially Fallout 4

God, that intro brings me back to the early days of Leon and Logan. There's just something special about Bethesda game Roleplay series. I'll be keeping a close eye on this series

I appreciate the dictation of your actions ("getting the sample") while on comms. It's like you're a real professional, it reminds me of the old Apollo comms recordings. The helmet radio filter is a nice touch, too.
Dude. After watching all of your previous roleplays for fallout New Vegas, fallout 4 and skyrim...i can't express how excited i was to see this video pop up.
I just love how the sound when you come up to the first artifact is a bunch of orchestras tuning up, layered on top of each other. Fits the game's overall theme, as well as fitting the 4th wall "the game is starting now."
I think this was the best roleplay of any game i have ever seen! I loved every minute and will be subscribing and making sure i can get my Starfield fix away from the xbox! How did you know what you were picking up though? I hear the looting sounds and you saying what you got. Is this simply excellent editing? I am very impressed and will be jumping right back in so thank you for this experience!

I have to applaud you for playing without a HUD. This game is nearly impossible to do so without seeing the scanning functions. I tried to do it but I couldn’t hang 😂. What’s your method for figuring out what you’re mining/looting? Or is it not a big deal to you and you’ll just do inventory management later? Love your content man. Love all of your series. Thank you for being such a huge inspiration to the rest of us serious role-players.
@@ryconroleplays ohhh right. I’ve heard that cue. Very nice. No HUD really makes a game more special imo. The experience really forces you to focus and immerse yourself more than you’d expect it to.
I could see using the HUD in one form or another when you have a helmet on, or are actually using the scanner, because it makes sense for the interface to exist in those moments. Perhaps the helmet HUD wouldn't show ammo count but it would definitely have your O2\CO2 and maybe the local conditions and some nav data. The scanner HUD could only show the scanner related functions.
@@exarkann yeah! I think this is my thought as well. I haven’t traveled to any dangerous planets yet so not sure how that works in terms of how it affects the player. Or you just don’t realize your dying til it’s too late lol. I guess there is that audio cue for hazards and such.
@@exarkann I think the helmet HUD could definitely show ammo count. These are smart weapons, smart helmets and smart everything. The gun would just need to be linked to the helmet display. Or you could say we carry a device that links everything together so all devices can communicate with each other.

Catching up with the series. I really enjoy the tempo. You seemingly take your time and take let us take in the scene and yet you move through the rooms really swiftly. I also love the character so far. I love that hes not a hero (always good to see grey characters) and seems action-packed. And that hunter hunted situation is also great. Good choises, good start. I have hundreds of hours and 9 playthroughs on starfield. This is what I do in my head. I create storylines and it’s made me love the game. So to see you do the same, so well, and allow us to witness, this is amazing! Subscribed!

I recently found your channel and it's hard catching up with your other roleplays because they're so big (I'm still on part 6 of Fallout New Vegas haha), but I'm happy this one is still recent and you're only a few parts in. Love it! Love the backstory the most, even though the farthest I've gotten in previous let's plays has been New Atlantis, so Neon is completely new to me. Wish in the intro segment that the conversation between Lin and Heller wasn't so fast so you could make an actual response, but it's still pretty good. Also, I'm pretty sure you're the only one who has done a roleplay for this game already, and a blind one at that, but don't count me on that, I could be wrong. Can't wait for the next episode! Still looking forward to the next episode of Logan's Dusk too, by the way! Edit: Sorry, one more thing: I also love how you make your voice sound like you're actually wearing the helmet. You did that in Logan's Tale too. It's pretty cool!

@SMvegas83 that is surprising. The way I figure it you could probably come up with 100000 different characters based on just backgrounds and traits alone, and if we include characters looks and gender in as well...at that point, you are probably looking at closer to 100 million.
A part of me hopes you pick this series back up but I understand it would be cumbersome. I truly enjoyed this roleplay and always come back to it. It's one of the few good things about this game.

Mostly figure it out later but the game actually has a neat but if sound design for when you pick up something rare, like it's a little jingle haha

So crazy that he's playing almost the exact same character I am. Same traits. Just instead of a Bounty Hunter my guy started as a Beast Hunter.
@SMvegas83 that is surprising. The way I figure it you could probably come up with 100000 different characters based on just backgrounds and traits alone, and if we include characters looks and gender in as well...at that point, you are probably looking at closer to 100 million.
