Thank you for sharing, I always find it helpful to see how other women pack for places that I would like to travel too.
Several years ago, I moved from steamy, tropical Central Texas to the Great NW, it took years to acclimate, and to build an appropriate wardrobe for several months of cold, rainy weather. Now I can pack a 15 pound carryon for a week at the stormy Pacific coast or playing in the Cascade Mountain snow. Instead of thick, bulky cottons, acrylics, or denim, I choose ultralight silk, ultralight Merino, cashmere wool blends, and rayon/spandex blend tech gear. I prefer being light, mobile, warm and fashionable instead of feeling and looking like a bloated, stiff, Marshmellow monster.
As long as I start with a silk blend camisole over my core, a pair of heat tech base layers, and Merino wool socks, I can wear light layers, and still be completely warm in subzero temps.
Sorry to ramble, again, thank you for sharing, I'm glad you both enjoyed your trip. Those are beautiful cities and areas you explored, I look forward to going myself in the next year or so.

My best friend and I are doing the same trip to celebrate our 60 birthdays in April 2024. She’s flying from Orlando , me from Chicago and we meet up in Philly to fly to Amsterdam. We are both checking a bag too for the same reason warm clothes are bulky and you need layers. The temps are suppose to be about like yours were 50s in the day. We are also staying at the Kimpton Dewitt. I noticed in your video on that you didn’t mention telling them the secret password. So don’t forget that whenever you stay at a Kimpton ❤.

How fun that you and your best friend are going to celebrate your birthdays in Amsterdam! Happy Birthday to you both!! There's a password needed for the Kimpton? We stayed at several Kimptons and have never heard of this!

Where was it that there were no escalators or elevator? We are two 60 year olds that will have a large and medium suitcase each? Thanks 😊

Thanks for the packing tips! Can I ask what boots you’re wearing with your long skirt? I’m looking for comfortable, nice boots that are good for traveling. I also love your white sweater!

The boots I'm wearing are from Express.com. I bought them in-store with one of their coupons and got them for $55. Sometimes I find that they have shoes in-store that they don't have online, so I would check both places :)
