I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this video. I lost my grandmother a couple weeke ago, and she would take us camping every summer. She gave me some of my best childhood memories. We would always go in her motorhome, and she made unrivaled waffles all the grandkids loved. ❤ this brought me so much comfort

Tip for brewing coffee in a coffee drip funnel: get the paper filter wet in the drip funnel before you add 3 TBSP of coffee grounds, so that the hot water drains through it smoothly and the coffee grounds can bloom/brew nicely.

Love the Cracker Barrel pancake mix. Took a big big box back to Germany with me when visiting the US. The lady at CB told me that it's important to let the dough sit and saturate before making the pancakes. She said it makes all the difference and it did! Loved your video, hope you'll have many enjoyable breakfast in your RV and then your new home 🙂 With making coffee this way, which is how my grandma made it, you need to pour in just a little to soak the grounds first, then pour in small portions so that it percolates slowly. You'll get a better flavor with less grounds that way.
Well that's a new bit of advice that I haven't heard. I am going to try that! I thought we were just supposed to wet the filter but that makes sense to wet the grounds as well. Thank you so much Tanja!

Have you ever tried the Italian moka pots (Bialetti, etc) for coffee? We use them on the boat all the time and they’re incredibly practical, economical, small and make an amazing brew of coffee. ❤❤❤

It’s like traveling back in time, yet keeping all the modern technology. Traveling around Europe is easy and affordable as well. I love it!
@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction Yep, alone. I had wanted to move to Europe since I was a small child, I can’t even explain why, I just knew I belonged in Europe. As I got older I understood why, because it was the aesthetic I needed (the old architecture and cobblestone and castles) and the way of life is so different here. More old-fashioned in many ways. Unfortunately, my life was full of a few very controlling, manipulative people so I ended up staying in the US until I was in my 40s. Then I learned how to say no, and how to be in control of my life. Long story short-ish lol, once my kids were grown (I had been happily divorced for several years) I started my life over and moved to Europe. They are old enough to make their own decisions, but they know they can visit or move here anytime they want. I know they want to move here, but they have significant others they have to convince. The first year I spent staying in and exploring a few different countries, and then settled down in Germany where I found work. I met an amazing Italian guy here and we fell in love and eventually got married. We have a small place in Italy as well. It looks like early next year we will be moving to Switzerland. Life is a wonderful adventure now!

I make my coffee the pour over way all the time. It really gives you a great-tasting cup of coffee. If you use some of your boiling water to dampen the filter and warm the cup, it helps.

I have heard of John Denver, just haven't heard his music. I looked up the song you sang and listened to it. The lyrics are cute. We have a natural area behind our subdividion that was once a golf course, huge and full of wildlife. Also gets fires from time to time...yikes. That's as close to country as we get lol. The bugs, critters and pollen sure are real though, that's what happens when you have a "lower 40" as they call it. Living in real country must be awesome though because I just love this slice of nature back there and the gorgeous view from our back sliding glass door. Every year we see the butterflies come out, there's wild pigs, great bird watching, squirrels, rabbits and the ever infamous wiley coyotes....come to think of it....I've even seen a roadrunner going across our fence too haha! Thanks for our breakfast invitation it was nice of you to have SO many of us over 😂.

My sweet cravings are really coming in at 25 weeks pregnant lol. Would you ever consider doing an RV tour? It looks just as cozy as your home did, fantastic job decorating! You have an alternate reality life as an interior decorator for those country living magazines lol!

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction Sorry for the late reply. I’ve lived in Europe (Germany and Italy, and the Netherlands for a bit) for five years now. I absolutely love it! Best decision I ever made. It’s like traveling back in time, yet keeping all the modern technology. Traveling around Europe is easy and affordable as well. I love it!

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction Yep, alone. I had wanted to move to Europe since I was a small child, I can’t even explain why, I just knew I belonged in Europe. As I got older I understood why, because it was the aesthetic I needed (the old architecture and cobblestone and castles) and the way of life is so different here. More old-fashioned in many ways. Unfortunately, my life was full of a few very controlling, manipulative people so I ended up staying in the US until I was in my 40s. Then I learned how to say no, and how to be in control of my life. Long story short-ish lol, once my kids were grown (I had been happily divorced for several years) I started my life over and moved to Europe. They are old enough to make their own decisions, but they know they can visit or move here anytime they want. I know they want to move here, but they have significant others they have to convince. The first year I spent staying in and exploring a few different countries, and then settled down in Germany where I found work. I met an amazing Italian guy here and we fell in love and eventually got married. We have a small place in Italy as well. It looks like early next year we will be moving to Switzerland. Life is a wonderful adventure now!

I make my coffee the pour over way all the time. It really gives you a great-tasting cup of coffee. If you use some of your boiling water to dampen the filter and warm the cup, it helps.
That's what someone else was saying earlier! I told my husband but he just doesn't believe it'll make it better. But I'm gonna try it. Thank you for the advice.

I have heard of John Denver, just haven't heard his music. I looked up the song you sang and listened to it. The lyrics are cute. We have a natural area behind our subdividion that was once a golf course, huge and full of wildlife. Also gets fires from time to time...yikes. That's as close to country as we get lol. The bugs, critters and pollen sure are real though, that's what happens when you have a "lower 40" as they call it. Living in real country must be awesome though because I just love this slice of nature back there and the gorgeous view from our back sliding glass door. Every year we see the butterflies come out, there's wild pigs, great bird watching, squirrels, rabbits and the ever infamous wiley coyotes....come to think of it....I've even seen a roadrunner going across our fence too haha! Thanks for our breakfast invitation it was nice of you to have SO many of us over 😂.
