Yoga for hamstring flexibility for beginners - Aham Yoga | Yoga with Aru

  • Hey everyone, welcome to my channel! This week's video is all about stretching & releasing tight hamstrings.
    🙏🏼 A quick note, my lower camera didn't save the video. So you'll notice that I'm looking away from you for the floor poses. But its still a great practice video so I'm sharing it.
    ➡️ The hamstring muscle is located at the back of your thigh. It runs from your glutes to the back of your knee. Since we use our legs heavily in everyday life to walk, sit, stand, climb, etc...this muscle gets rather tight.
    Keeping your glutes & hamstrings open is important for the health of your lower back. I would recommend you practice this video at least 2 or 3 times a week for a month for best results.
    Props are needed for practice ...
    1️⃣. A yoga strap, belt, or a towel
    2️⃣. Yoga blocks or books
    3️⃣. A cushion or a yoga blanket
