I totally understand David’s feelings. On top of that, he’s the only artist I truly believe is not doing it for the money. Case in point, his guitar collection. He sold it through auction and every time went to charity. We saw Roger in concert recently and it would have been a brilliant show, but spent a lot of it bashing Gilmour. We were so disappointed.

@williammcdowell3718 Bullshit. The Wall is 95% Waters and is better than either of those albums. Plus, I'll put Pros and Cons and Amused to Death against any of the Elevator Music that Gilmour put out as solo albums. And the difference is, Waters purposely tries to do something different every time. He's not a one trick pony like Gilmour that keeps playing the same shit over and over with diminishing returns. Why would anyone want to listen to the same sounding music over and over again and not just listen to the original, better versions? His two ridiculous Floyd albums were just lesser retreads of what they did in the 70s. It's music about nothing. It's the absence of art. It was a money grab because he knew he couldn't make money without the Pink Floyd name.

Being in my 50's, and having loved the Floyd since I was six years old, I recently found it necessary to learn how to seperate the artist's creations from the _person_ the artist is (or was). Whether it's Elvis, Waters, Lennon, Clapton, John Fogerty, Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Kurt Cobain, etc etc... All music stars are people, and people just suck in general. Some more than others, of course. Waters is a musical/artistic genius, but as a man, I really have little respect for how he treats and treated his former Floydian bandmates. "Pathetic... that's what it is." (Perhaps you get the reference.)

Roger left the band...then took them to court when they tried to go on without him. Then insulted their next album by calling it a forgery, Then went on to insult DG and Polly, then went on to have a melt down when things don't go his way or to him seems unfair. Dude...There is a reason the band members didn't present their ideas to you, and it is why The Final Cut is just Roger screaming for half an hour. Lyrics alone don't make a song or an album good.

Yet more re hashes of the albums we already have too many copies of? Expensive, unnecessary box sets? Will we ever see the 5.1 copy of The Wall? Live at Pompeii, Venice and other unreleased items? How would you view Russia if say California or Texas seceded from the union and then the United States tried to get them back in the union and Russia tried to get California or Texas to be a member of the Warsaw Pact (if it still existed) so that a US attempt to get California or Texas back in the union would require a military response by Russia. Add to that what if Russia put missiles pointed at the US from California? That was the the US plan for Ukraine. Kamala Harris talked about getting Ukraine in NATO a week before the invasion. We didn't tolerate missiles in Cuba. But it's OK for Russia to tolerate them on land that was once theirs.

I wouldn’t spend the ridiculous amount of money on a ticket that they would want for a reunion tour. For the first time I’m happy with knowing that it’s over for good. What a sad and desperate money grab that tour would be. Neither of these guys could pull off the vocals needed to make it decent and authentic so it would be lip synced. And while they are lip syncing why not play tracks instead of instruments? In fact let’s just have these 3 guys on stage and not bother with a band and instruments at all. Large stage productions can be fun but music is about connection, concerts are just circus displays now with no heart or connection.

Take a look at her sad encyclopedia of imagination-her Tweet of dumping insults on Waters. Her next book should be: How I Rocked Myself into Fame Through the Hall of Insults. With this tweet she really shows how low she sees herself. The position of Waters in regard to social issues should be addressed and debated.
