Interesting. Tell me, the "Hydrasynth" in the title- Is this The ASM Hydrasynth ? Explorer? Deluxe? or another product? ...I am only familiar with the Explorer. -A compact synth that blew my "Doors" off this past July - While visiting my local music store which I do every month or 2 just to see what's new, on sale etc. They had an ASM explorer on display. I played with it for half an hour and was intrigued by it's unique features and sounds... I might have bought it outright then and there, but I decided to go home and examine it on line, and then, if properly impressed, return the following day and purchase it. This is exactly what I did... BUT upon returning to the store 24 hours or less later, I was quite disappointed, and surprised to find that it was sold, just an hour before my arrival, and they were sold out. I bought a Roland SP 404 MKII instead. I know it is nothing like the Hydra, it is a damn good PORTABLE sampler/sequencer, a tool I was wanting all the same. I have barely touched it. Before that I picked up an Auturia Microfreak vocoder edition...which is a lovely little synth... and I still need to do a deep dive into learning it...The fact is I have a lot of gear that I need to focus on...BEFORE buying more gear... I'm a sucker for synths and music tech... and I'm not that rich that I can just keep buying every toy the big tech companies push each month...I already have far more gear than I know what to do with. The DAWS alone represent a couple years to really learn them. None of which is worth a Fiddler's Fart if one has no proclivity for artistic/musical creativity... Fortunately I do have at least THAT much going for me... Hydrasynth... Dude...I am jealous AF! Keep up the work!
