I feel bad for the couples that did not make the cut. It must be painful to be followed and your scenes ended in the cutting floor. But since nobody made it, the producers may have been right.
Producers pick the couples that will be the most "interesting" to watch. This means they want drama. If the other 2 engaged couples didn't make the cut, it probably meant they were too "normal"/"boring". If the couples were looking for their 15 minutes of fame then I guess they might have been disappointed, if not, I think they may have been relieved.
They could of left Shaina and Kyle out of it. She could of just shown up when the other people showed up but i wouldn't have minded watching joey and Caitlin through their journey

After the success of Cam and Lauren I thought we'd get at least one positive love story. Instead the producers decided to turn it into Love Island/The Bachelor. Shaina was the replica of Jessica from S1. She used Kyle to stay on the show after she lost Shaine which was wack asf. I could've done without Sheik and his narcissism. They could have given us a couple worth rooting for. In the end I didn't believe in a single one. Jarrett at some point I won't be surprised if he cheats on Iyonna eventually. And Danielle needs lots of therapy. I don't know how Nick puts up with her. A mess of a season.
To be fair, I think Lauren and Cameron are the exception, not the rule. It is really unusual to not encounter real significant problems in the real world. I would be really surprised to see another couple of their level come out from the show.

I hate this. It makes me question everything on this show. How do the producers and editors know which couples/events we want to see? This whole concept is weird so include it all and let us decide if we want to follow that couple or skip. And I want to see all the couples.

Basically they just did the pods got engaged and went home engaged bc they even said they got to meet each other’s families and things but didn’t have to worry about the cameras being there. So the producers do assume which couples we want to see bc they didn’t even film those 2 couples journey and they never had a wedding. They probably didn’t seem to bring enough drama in the pods, when around the cameras, and in their meeting of each other enough compared to the other couples that the producers felt like they were worth just sending home and not continuing to film them But honestly, idk why people are bringing this up so surprised as if they didn’t do this exact same thing the first season as well…. Well it’s like any reality tv show. I feel the connections are real sure. But they most likely produce a lot of the dates, going out moments, events etc…and probably ask the couples to discuss certain things. Tbh it’s noticeable when Danielle & Nick are at the pier or whatever by the water arguing about the day of meeting the family’s. The convo seemed so forced bc he definitely didn’t look ready to discuss it. But it’s like behind the scenes they’re probably telling them “we need you to discuss what happened earlier today”. 😅🥶
NAH, they should show everyone! This season was hard to watch and I honestly skipped 3 eps because the cringe was hard. The first 2 episodes were sooo rushed and almost gimmicky like I felt LIB Brazil was. Can we have a format like LiB Japan? 🤷🏾♀️
