@@Pattmore I’m recently rewatching all of Star Wars chronologically and it’s hard to get through rebels. The first season is a real 1/10 and It’s just so boring and pointless. The animation is laughably disgusting and I’m one of the few who actually likes the design but the animation is🤢 Season 2 is an improvement but continues to be garbage with so many more episodes than the first. Ahsoka, rex, Tarkin, and especially vader make it worth watching but that’s only 30% of the show instead we focus on poorly made characters with a few that I like can’t make up for the awful rest. The ending of season 2 was probably the best the show ever got and it didn’t even have the main characters, only our nostalgia. Season 3 is a mild improvement with a fair share of stinkers. I like kanan a lot more and Hera is good. Sabine and Ezra mature and actually become respectable characters not gonna lie. Not only that but it gave us a god scent with Thrawne He’s good and compelling. The twins suns episode was great and I never thought Ezra would see obiwan. Kenobi vs maul was 🤩gold. The final two episodes had stakes and I like that. I’m currently watching season 4 and it’s not so bad but no where near clone wars. Season 1: 1/10 Season 2: 4/10 Season 3: 5.5/10 Season 4: 5.5/10
I watched it now for the first time. Why it’s not trash? For many lore aspects like subtle hints for the OT and Rogue One, Mortis Arc with Palpatine, Vader and Ahsoka, Thrawn confirmed canon, Maul and Obi Wans satisfying last fight etc Why it’s for many trash or often very trashy? Many filler episodes, it’s very child-cartoonish (which is logical as it’s a even more children cartoon as CW), the empire was made even more comical and less threatening when the rebel group always outplays them especially Thrawn (often with very stereotypical ways based: on Zeb-strong, Chopper-Tech, Hera-Pilot, Sabine-explosives, Kanan and Ezra-Force), Stormtroopers became even bigger memes, sometimes very linear and predictable story telling, Ezra sometimes became a to big driving force for the main plot of the OT a la to much cameos, the finale with these space whales was kinda cringe but ok and most importantly these trash flying inquisitors with their lightsabers (insert Finn: „They fly now?“) I go with a fellow comment. It has its moments 40-60% which are worth to watch but it also has very stereotypical filler.
@@crocdoctor7581I think the opposite. He had a crush on her at first and she just thought he was annoying and then their sibling bond grew from there and he lost interest, and she just loves him like a brother I think
Hopefully there is some way Dave filoni can give kanan a second chance that way he and hera can still be together with there son and kanan can reunite with all of his rebels friends
That window is shut. Kanan did what a Jedi needs to do. Ezra can’t save him via Mortis Arc because this means they all die and he gets corrupted by the same story like Anakin. The message of letting go was the theme of the end.
I think the most we can hope for is that Kanan returns as a force ghost in some way. He did as a lothe wolf and a presence behind Hera when she was grieving. This was my favorite Star Wars couple. The most believable romance of the entire series. Very mature even from the beginning when they were refer to themselves as mom and dad. Clearly they had a relationship of some kind when the series started. They may have put it on hold because of the war but by the end of the show it was heating up.Kanan's death was heartbreaking. I would just like to see a force ghost of him watching over his son and the woman he would have married.
Makes sense to me. My natural dialect is the Central Appalachian one, but I have half-consciously changed and suppressed it over the years after being mocked and called things like “stupid hillbilly” while living away from Appalachia. It only comes out occasionally, like when I’m really tired or, yes, angry, and with certain words. E.g. creek is properly pronounced “crick” Thank you very much. For two episodes they try to kiss, just before he dies they kiss for the first time and she gets pregnant? How in the world could that have happened? And if they had had sex before that, the episodes where they tried to kiss and the episode when they kissed would be out of place. After all, it was implied here that it was the first time. The logic behind this is not comprehensible. Sure, you can have sex without kissing, but I assume that most of us kiss and cuddle with our partner before the sexual act.
Kanan and heras story shouldn’t have ended so tragically, hope Dave and the creators could get creative and find a way for kanan to have survived the explosion and reunite with his family

Actually in that scene when they're hiding in the alley and about to kiss it's implied this was something they did many times before when they were alone. Unfortunately they were interrupted by the comms. When you see Hera kissing Kanan it was actually the first time they did it publicly in front of the family. It was a promise that there would be a future for them after the war. Rebels was a kid show so of course they're not going to show the details. But there was plenty of opportunity for Hera and Kanan to be alone and intimate together before her capture and his death.
In starwars you can have a cross species kids Its just gender related If its a male child you will get father species Female mother species Even Ezra is a cross species guy
Rebels sucked, there was no emotion. If there was an emotional scene in rebels, it only lasted for a few seconds. I hate rebels. I like hera and Kanan though.
Yeah they along with chopper and the grand inquisitor are the only characters I like not returning from original media like the clone wars, original trilogy, prequels, or thrawn novels.
I can 100% agree. The only things I liked were kanan and hera, chopper, I liked saw garrera, and the ghost was a cool ship. Aside from that I hate how they portrayed the empire. They seemed more cruel than the should have been and I absolutely hate how STUPID they were. The stormtroopers were stupider than zombies in rebels. I also hated Ezra, he was nowhere even close to cool, he was just a whiny idiot.
So when did they have sex? Cuz they obviously did if Hera had a child

Kanan and Hera are proof that Jedi can have romantic relationships if it's done responsibly.
