I sent in a video to Panorama i recorded off my free-view telly box (on request) at times the producers of these shows would stage calls just to get the presenter to laugh (more) which they tried to mask by faking the delay, but at times would just not bother... these shows are still very popular in Europe.
I used to watch these quiz channels, and often if a child (under 18) calls up, the producers cut the call rather than giving them a chance to put an adult on the line.
@hulk239239 I don't believe any of these shows or channels are still running although some of the companies are still around and making similar shows I believe. I think most of these shows and channels ended because of negative reporting from a phone hacking press.

@jeffrey44 hi, yes i do... had a quick look at one video and you can see/hear it, its a funny clip but suspect none the less, the question was easy and one person phone in with a silly answer "queen of love" which made the presenter laugh, then after some time joking about it another so called "caller" phones in with the same answer to great effect, everyones in hysterics, but the second call has a fake delay (to start with) which is then turned off as the caller reacts in real time

lol i had to SPAM the phoneslines from Online application.. had 20windows opend at once lol and i only won as it was (if you phone in you get a £50 instantly) lol .. fecking G4 lucky git! with all his money he can buy her teeth lol

I have never seen The Pranker and I refuse to give it a chance but in my expert opinion, Quizmania was a much better programme.
