- DE-RISK PROJECT
DE-RISK is a project that will run from 2022 to 2025 and aims to promote the market acceptance of renewable energy systems by providing up to 100 GW of flexibility by 2030.
Utilizing an innovative customer behavior change process, it seeks to minimize investments and risks.
Additionally, it integrates digital twins and multi-sided business models to reduce technical risks and enhance sustainability.
Moreover, it develops regulatory recommendations to ensure fair and transparent adoption of flexibility markets.
DE-RISK will support the market uptake of RES by de-risking the adoption of Local Flexibility Markets to increase the RES hosting capacity of the distribution network.
Ecrowd has two main roles in DE-RISK as follows:
- Describe the current state of the art, available finance models, new financing trends, and specially the need for new financing instruments, and its fitting for LFM investments and related energy communities involved.
- Design and launch a crowdlending campaign for funding hardware for the DE-RISK Spanish pilot in Murcia to unleash and demonstrate the full potential of collective financing for LFMs and energy communities.
The DE-RISK project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon EUROPE Programme under grant agreement No. 101075515
