Not sure if because they had such a great loss this year seems like she may not be Alpha anymore the group has been following Lancy more often than not. They need new unrelated alpha male so they won't lose so many newborns

I loved the first time Bolly was doing the dominant stance and Becky just did a somersault and ran through her legs and away!😂😂 Then Bolly wised up and held on tighter, while Becky jumped around and attached herself to Bolly’s side like a jellyfish. What a character. She did a lot of active living in her short life 😢💕🐒

I am afraid that Mr. AM will say Vivy is gone too. I was balling after watching this video. I was trying to control my tears but it kept falling! If my husband was awake he will be so confused why I am crying! I am fairly new here, probably a few years but I fell in love with this channel and all the troops and have some favorites too. I even want to go to Hongkong and want to meet our gang and maybe Mr. A.M. My sister and her family lived in Hongkong for 5 years and when we went home to the Philippines I was going to go to HK with them before coming back to the US. But I opted to stay in the Philippines, however I haven’t discovered this channel, if I knew then I will probably go with my sister and visit Monkey Hill. It’s weird because they kind of know this place but not very familiar with it. Maybe when I go back to the Philippines I will stop over Hongkong!

Usually it is the younger ones that get hit by cars. I know a Mum in Skullhead's troop died soon after having a baby, so it could be childbirth related. I really hope she wasn't attacked, it seemed it was only Ridgy who got attacked.

She was very intelligent. I can see the cogs of her brain turn when she looked into the camera. I'm sad thinking of the lost potential in her death. If she had survived and had a chance to have babies of her own, I wonder if she would have been able to pass on her uniqueness to her offspring. I could make assumptions all day about what could have been, but the fact remains that she's gone. That's a loss for us and Bossy and her family. I hope if there is a monkey's heaven, I hope Becky is there climbing to her hearts content.😢
I’m just finding your channel and oh, goodness, my heart hurts for you. It aches for the whole troop, as well, who undoubtedly lost a gentle, fun, helpful big sister, niece, and aunty, a funny and adventurous friend, and I personally think, an amazing future mom and glorious Alpha female. The whole video I kept thinking, “Why so close to the road!?!” I’m so, so sorry for the loss of your friend. Thankyou for being able to go through all this footage, knowing how hard it is. I do know. 2023 was bad for my family, I lost my oldest daughter, 42, on Halloween day. Before anyone says anything, yes, I do realize they are animals, but I cant hardly take being able to look at photos of my two oldest children who have passed, the heartache is too much. You've been with these babies since birth and I know it hurts, on top of your own personal life of heartache. You may not be able to gather the footage of the lost ones for awhile, just wait until you're able to do it without this overwhelming sadness, that is, if you're ever able to, if not; their photos and footage will forever be ingrained in your beautiful memories and heart. RIP Becky and all of them😢

Well, I can't see the keyboard too well through my tears. Becky was so special that she made Bossy let her go at just two months, which is a real tribute to her unusual, wonderful, adventurous character. And while I have seen a lot of babies and yearlings enchanted by your mirror-camera, none seemed to have really looked at themselves with such steady interest. I would have loved to see what kind of mum she would have been--her family relationships seemed deeper than others. Maybe because she was so much fun, with such a well-defined, wild-at-heart personality, she was more curious about herself than most of us. I am happy for you AM, to have had that one-of-a-kind connection to one of the gorgeous babies, and I am sorry for your loss. There was something of the human about her--perhaps she was a lucky human who got to be reincarnated as a fine wild monkey in a loving family. I understand how frantic and stunned Bolly and the sisters were to see their strong, crazy sibling, more fun than a whole barrel of monkeys, lifeless on the road. They seemed to be looking for a human to blame. I hope that sports car asshole hit-and-runner gets the karma coming to him/her. Watching this could be bad enough, realizing what they had done. I guess they think they're driving Monaco grand Prix because Golden Hill isn't a road built for speeding. Anyway then later that year during the birthing season we had Bessy who gave birth to her third child. She lost her daughter Betsy 2022. She was around three months when she disappeared. 2023 she gave birth to Berny. He disappeared after a month and a half. We can only speculate to what happened to him. About two weeks before he disappeared he was a bit puffy eyed and looked a little bit sickly but looked Okey again after a week. He could have fallen and got some internal injuries. Bossy lost her boy who lived no more than two weeks disappeared. Bubby's daughter Bubbly died around 1.5 months old. She had looked a bit sickly now and then since birth but I would never imagined her die because of it but in hindsight... We can only speculate what happened to these three babies because we don't know. Bessy's Berny disappeared second week of June, Bossy's boy the second week of July and Bubby's first born Bubbly she disappeared the third week of July. It could just have been a bad coincidence which it probably was but I think Lowry was the father too all three maybe (big speculation) they were to close related some way. I don't think so but we will probably never know. 🤓🇸🇪

Shoot, I didn't see that coming. It seems that we lose a lot of those Spunky monkeys, or the ones who are larger than life, such as Gertie, Riy, and Scooby. It is heart breaking. I cannot even imagine knowing them personally. I would be devastated. So sorry you have to go through those losses.
Her head looked like a glue on qr first ❤ she was so activen you usually get those stills when they are a month or so when they finally let go for a few minutes Not her though lol. 1-2 days and she was off and crawling. Her mother looks so tired. Usually she would get her strength back laying around a few day but she cdnt bc becky was a runner from day one

I had a bad feeling when we hadn't seen Becky for a while. Poor Bossy losing two kids in one year and other babies in her family. It is awful how cars drive fast knowing there are monkeys and people on the road.
A story of a little one too big for her britches who thought she could conquer the world, she would have been a fantastic matrioch sorry to see you go little angel
Very sad to see that she was taken so young by an ignorant driver, it looks like her pouches were full when she died. This is a telling case study for how macaque relatives and troop members react to the sudden passing of one of their own. It's different from a baby dying naturally in the wild, as it takes them a day or two to actually understand that they are no longer alive. This is the equivalent of a sudden attack from another animal for them. In their understanding, she is either dying or already dead and this is why we see such a hostile reaction. The best guess is either Bolly or Bossy came over to get her body and it was soon after left behind when they could smell the blood and realized she was gone. I imagine she was probably carried for a little while like with her deceased niece and nephew.
I’ve always thought Bossy and her daughters were homely monkeys with that chromagnon forehead. Makes them all look mean and grumpy. However, Becky must’ve had the ugliest father on earth to mix with her homely mother. Saying she wasn’t the prettiest baby that year was an understatement! She is definitely a physically mighty thing (Desirey?), but not adorable like most other baby macaques. Oddly I don’t know what it is that is different- just doesn’t add up to a cute baby like Dopey. He was a baby face you could fall for in a hurry.

Bubby's daughter Bubbly died around 1.5 months old. She had looked a bit sickly now and then since birth but I would never imagined her die because of it but in hindsight...
We can only speculate what happened to these three babies because we don't know. Bessy's Berny disappeared second week of June, Bossy's boy the second week of July and Bubby's first born Bubbly she disappeared the third week of July. It could just have been a bad coincidence which it probably was but I think Lowry was the father too all three maybe (big speculation) they were to close related some way. I don't think so but we will probably never know.

Shoot, I didn't see that coming. It seems that we lose a lot of those Spunky monkeys, or the ones who are larger than life, such as Gertie, Riy, and Scooby. It is heart breaking. I cannot even imagine knowing them personally. I would be devastated. So sorry you have to go through those losses.
Her head looked like a glue on qr first ❤ she was so activen you usually get those stills when they are a month or so when they finally let go for a few minutes
Not her though lol. 1-2 days and she was off and crawling. Her mother looks so tired. Usually she would get her strength back laying around a few day but she cdnt bc becky was a runner from day one

Becky was a great girl and she would have been a great mother and adittion to the Troup. And I believe she would have been a loving alpha female... Della 😊 So sad she didn't make it . A great loss to there troop..

I had a bad feeling when we hadn't seen Becky for a while. Poor Bossy losing two kids in one year and other babies in her family. It is awful how cars drive fast knowing there are monkeys and people on the road.
A story of a little one too big for her britches who thought she could conquer the world, she would have been a fantastic matrioch sorry to see you go little angel

Very sad to see that she was taken so young by an ignorant driver, it looks like her pouches were full when she died. This is a telling case study for how macaque relatives and troop members react to the sudden passing of one of their own. It's different from a baby dying naturally in the wild, as it takes them a day or two to actually understand that they are no longer alive. This is the equivalent of a sudden attack from another animal for them. In their understanding, she is either dying or already dead and this is why we see such a hostile reaction. The best guess is either Bolly or Bossy came over to get her body and it was soon after left behind when they could smell the blood and realized she was gone. I imagine she was probably carried for a little while like with her deceased niece and nephew.
I’ve always thought Bossy and her daughters were homely monkeys with that chromagnon forehead. Makes them all look mean and grumpy. However, Becky must’ve had the ugliest father on earth to mix with her homely mother. Saying she wasn’t the prettiest baby that year was an understatement! She is definitely a physically mighty thing (Desirey?), but not adorable like most other baby macaques. Oddly I don’t know what it is that is different- just doesn’t add up to a cute baby like Dopey. He was a baby face you could fall for in a hurry.
