Mr. AM, I think Nora is actually missing having a baby this year! She was gentle with Bibi and didn't really bite or nip her, despite Bibi being quite obstinate. In my opinion, Nora isn't a bad mother. I believe that both she and her daughter, Celessa, are experiencing some issues related to their pregnancy hormones, and that the hormones responsible for maternal behaviour might not kick in until a few weeks after delivery. Thanks for the update abt that old girl! I'm glad she got that sweet potato on the last leg of her journey to the Rainbow Bridge! Thank You , Mr AM as always, for another episode of life on Monkey Hill! 🇸🇪
Maybe Nora was put off by the total dependence of the first week or so of a baby's life, but when she saw Cessa start being more independent she was ready to deal.
It will be very interesting to see how Nora acts with her next baby.i don't think she will exhibit the post partum depression symptoms she has had with the previous babies for some reason.i hope I'm right!?
Well if Dora is smart she'll stay clear away from Nora I just pray that now Nora will not start killing babies because she doesn't have one I worry now about every baby there because she hurt that Baby stretching its arm and twisting them how awful to have seen her be so cruel
It looks to me as if the old girl came into contact with a high voltage line somewhere. I've seen very similar wounds on other monkeys in other videos.
This is 100% the only sensible thing anyone has to say about the whole thing. Thank you for being a real person instead of repeating some nonsense or claiming to know something that you cannot possibly know. Children have been thrown around, disciplined, sent to places they didn't want to be, and do not get what they want until they grow up enough to go get what they want, for hundreds of thousands of years, millions even, whether human, animal, or otherwise, and been a ok. Feeling pain for the things you do not like personally is all you can do, and anything else is simply demonstrating a detachment from reality. I'm sure this bit of common sense has served you well in life and if others would apply it to theirs, the world would be an infinitely better place! ❤
Goodness, the struggle is real here! I do believe that Nora misses being a mum. And that she is trying to use Bibi to replace what she lost. I’m not sure she understands why Bibi won’t submit to her. Bibi just wants her mum and doesn’t understand why Nora won’t let her go. These two are very strong-willed that is for sure. I am surprised that Nora is taking Bibi is biting her back and that no one else is stepping in, especially her mum. But that’s where, I think she that she really doesn’t want to hurt her. She just wants a baby to love, regardless of the past. I wish we knew what happened to her baby. 😢
How exactly would the next in line take over if Nora passed? I’ve never seen it in action but am assuming it’s innate in them. 🤔 Honestly, I do think there is something psychologically wrong with Nora and I see shades of it in Celessa. Too bad Norma wasn’t the matriarch. 😕 Niall is really a momma’s boy and you can tell how jealous he is that Nora is holding onto Bibi, he’s clasped around her waist. But Nora doesn’t want a child, she wants a baby, and it just so happens she wants her niece’s baby. Maybe a past slight she felt from Norma in the past? 🤔 Who really knows with Nora, she’s an enigma wrapped in an enigma. 🫤 Watching Bibi struggle to get away from Nora makes me wish she wasn’t so “spunky”.Something happened to Bee, her finger is injured as is the base of her tail, near the spine. Bibi is lucky she has good parents because biting back and not listening gets you hurt real bad by moms that aren’t as nice. No milk for you for hours. Not a game Bibi is mean.
Nora isn't Bibi's mom. Nora took her from her mom and won't let her go. Bibi is trying to get back to her mom. That is why Bibi is biting Nora. Nora isn't a baby sitter, she's a kidnapper.

It’s abuse in terms of human morality, but when it comes to all other living creatures, it’s simply nature. It is difficult to watch through our morally guided eyes, but other primate societies work differently, and we are not privy to their thoughts, which makes it impossible for us to truly understand their behaviors. Though they clearly do possess intelligence and seem to share some of our emotions, they do not possess the knowledge and understanding of the world that we do. We know that we will dehydrate and die if we do not drink water for a couple days, but they likely do not know that fact. We do not know the scope of their understanding, but we do know that it is void of much of knowledge we have making it impossible for them to form the same views of things such as kidnapping that we, as humans, have formed as a species.
