It’s bittersweet to see the males protecting the baby’s body. They knew something was wrong and they showed an almost human-like sense of empathy in protecting a baby that likely wasn’t even related to them.
You make the best vidoes! They are educational, knowledgable ( You know all the monkeys you gave names to) compassionate, respect and are personal with the monkeys. And very funny at times! Keep going with your great work, much appreciated.

The monkeys are seen as a neusance by some people. I see the people that are leaving their garbage for the monkeys to tear up as the neusance.

Where ever they are going im sure they wont get challenged much. (I paused the video to get a good look at him and ive never seen a monkey with so much character and definition and huge shoulders. Hes a gorgeous beast

There is a program in the United States that has been successful. They built an over pass for animals. With vegetation grass. It is safe for the animals and cars. The animals started migrate again because of food and DNA.

Unpopular opinion here. Monkey vs. the machine! They builded crossovers, try to avoid them. A ten car pile up is quite expensive, life changing and dilapidating to people that need their cars to go to work, take kids to school and doing business. It’s sad but we’re not going to blame a humans. I love the monkeys dearly and have watched them on both of your channels. In this case humans are way more important and need consideration.
That one monkey, Marilynn I think you said is so pretty. What a unique color. She seems to be the only one with that color. Is she a hybrid or something? So unique.

It's pretty easy to avoid accidents. First, keep distance to the vehicle in front of you. Keep the speed limits and then build special foot bridges for animals. They're relatively inexpensive to build specially if only monkeys should use them. Bring your garbage home or have the city distribute Monkey safe trash cans over areas where monkeys spend their time outside the parks.
I get angry when we always blame the monkeys when only small adjustments from us humans can make a coexistence so much easier but that news report said it all: No one got hurt but the monkeys was found dead. So, a dead monkey is just an afterthought. Nothing special. It reminded me about a news story I read in a news paper a long time ago. It was a tourist bus involved in an accident with a car in Turkey. The news went on describing the accident but they were lucky no one of the tourists died or got injured. The article continue describing the accident and the last line in the article was: "Two persons in the car died". I haven't forgotten about the article. Those tourist wasn't even from the same country where the article was published. I think of it sometimes. How can we get a better world for all of us humans (and all the other animals) when we can't see us all as equal.

Long tails and short tails have different behaviours (from seeing the long tails in Cambodia videos). Are these hybrids monkeys' behaviour more like the cousins up the road, or somewhere in between?
Also, if the hybrid troop continues to live so close to the city they will be considered pests and culled😮😢

AM, the restaurant did not have your favorite but I had Arooz Marinero last evening. It was shrimp, squid, scallops and mushrooms on rice. It was very spicy but the lime they served with it cut some of the hot. The rice was wonderful. Where did the longtails come from, do you know?

Where did the longtails come from?
Arroz did a video on them years ago, a ship had them on board and long tails are not allowed in China, so to avoid getting fined they dumped them.

@ hey Deb. I think of you often and wonder what crafts you are working on. Tonight’s video was informative but not very uplifting. And those people who don’t like the monkeys making a mess should go after those giving wrapped food and leaving their own litter. 😡 That annoyed me.

@ hi Pam. Actually, I haven’t done one single craft since we moved! My “craft room” has become a storage room and all my craft materials are stored between that room and the garage. I truly need to get organized first. We just had all the rooms painted so now we can begin the task of hanging things on the walls. My crafting will come after everything is nice and organized.

Yes many decades ago a circus broke down while traveling and many animals were left behind, including the long tail macaques. Obviously bread, multiplied and the interbred w rhesus macaques
