Did anyone else find themselves bawling during this? My base level is always high anxiety, but the last few weeks I’ve been so tense that I can barely breathe. I started the tapping and connected to a small triggery thing from childhood, but by the time I got to under the mouth something unstuck itself and I crumbled into sobbing, but it was the kind of tight, choking sobbing a child does when they can’t catch their breath. It shocked me. I don’t even know what was triggering it as it was all such a jumble of childhood and current stuff all muddled together. I know I hold onto things and bury them really deep so maybe this tapping thing is a way of bringing shit up to the surface which we can then process and let go of? I’m really curious now and I’m definitely going to explore it more.
Thanks Russ for this enlightening journey. 💜

This really reminded me of emdr. It was even better tho in a way cuz I love that it made me feel connected to my body. I can see how that would have happened to you bc it felt like it was a lot easier to untie the knots when you're tapping. I was in a rly good mood when I did this and registered from a 6 down to a 3 after. If I'd been stressed or v anxious I'm sure it would have drastically helped. Def holding onto this!

So glad you shared this❣️ I am currently reading through EFT for Christians. I looked it up on RUclips & here you are, NOT a coincidence 🕊🙏 You are such a lovely person. I have experienced so many healings in my life I sometimes think I should be "over it" by now. I am 50, raised 5 children & Married for 26 yrs. Yet I am still carrying these traumas around physically. I am a very emotional person & Feel Everything so Deeply!! I felt like I was carrying too much Sadness & pain still. This brought up several issues for me & I cried. Afterward I felt so much lighter. I was at least a 7 at the start & down to about a 3 by the end. I will keep following these videos & applying EFT. Thank You SOOO MUCH for Showing us how to do this💜 🌻🦋 This is going to help so many people💐💖

I never realized the anxiety I had due to me being a late in life kid. My dad had me at 46 with my mom being about 10 years younger. They divorced when I was very young. He was an educated man, fought in WW2 and had dreams of entrepreneurship and never swore a DAY in his life. Mom was an abusive alcoholic who cussed like a sailor so, dad pretty much raised me. When I was about 8, I found a cassette tape with my dad doing basically an audio diary. It was then I found out he had stage 4 Esophageal cancer. I told no one. I didn't know what or how to. He beat it twice but it came back a 3rd time and took him... He died in 96' at 76 years old. He had issues swallowing food for years and really suffered the effects of the cancer and chemo... My dad was amazing and I think about him every day. I now realize just how much his age and health really effected me. This occurred during this video while I was " Tapping". I figured a lot of my issues were from a bad marriage and divorce (she cheated) but the thought that hit me was my dad and his age/health. Thank you Russell. Maybe I'm still able to do something with my life.

I've known about tapping for at least 20 years. I learned tapping through Gary Craig, who was a student of Dr. Roger Callahan. Nick, I believe learned from Gary, and continued to get it out there. Gary "gave it away" to the world, because it is SO VALUABLE. Tapping has helped me on many issues, and I continue everyday to tap on stuff. I hope people continue to learn and use it, and spread the word about tapping. We all deserve peace, health, and happiness.

Thankfully I felt no withdrawals when I quit cold-turkey ... Tapping was one of the first techniques I learned .. and it really does help!! Both physically and mentally!! Tapping remains in my arsenal of methods .. Meditation, Tapping, Yoga, Scripting ... It's amazing - I try all the time to get people to explore "alternative" strategies ... Most are very skeptical ...

EFT, EMDR, MFT (Dietrich Klinghardt), FasterEFT (Robert Smith), REM (David Boeger), etc are all neurological reprogramming techniques which will change the original neurological "stored" of trauma. The body stores trauma like a program on a computer straight into RAM.

Brilliant. Didn’t take it too seriously at first as I focused on my sore throat, ended up focusing on a totally awful memory from when I was a teenager and by the end my throat didn’t hurt nearly as much and I don’t feel the same cringe about that memory.

    • @ifinicle
      @ifinicle 3 года назад +8

The throat chakra is where our truths are revealed or quieted. Your voice was silenced due to this teenage memory and was felt within your sore throat. Many times we do not realize that our internal aches and pains are actually stuck energies from stagnant, unresolved memories. This is why many people will cry while tapping on a trauma. It's not that they are sad, it's that the emotional trauma becomes dislodged and released and the cleansing can create an avalanche of emotional ejection.
When we stuff these traumas down, it's because we don't like the pain that they make us feel, so instead of feeling it deeply and then releasing it, we tend to just put more and more "bricks" on it to hide it away. This is where substance abuse and many other addictions come from. The numbness of drugs and alcohol can act as a buffer between us and those traumas that need to be released.
Keep on tapping on that trauma until it's down to a 1 or zero!

Oh Wow- didn’t know I needed this today. 🙏🏻 Just experienced horrific footage and conference goer commentary on the Travis Scott concert where he was playing discordant tones and people (kids!) were dropping. When I tuned in to your share here, I noticed my chest was in a state frozen shock on one level. I tapped with you because- why keep that shit going?! A memory surfaced from me falling down in a dark pile in the middle of concert. I’d “forgotten” about this. I remembered thinking that I truly might die tonight. There was no way to get my feet back underneath me. Miraculously the guy on top of me got up somehow and quickly turned and pulled me up. We managed to pull everyone up but it was terrifying. I’m glad to have touched this traumatic snapshot of a past moment so I could clear it from my body now. Thank you so much divine brothers for bringing the healing while the world is truthing. As a Christian I often use it in conjunction with my prayer life, bringing in the Divine to effect healing. I think that is what tapping does, it "disrupts" the constant circle of anxiety between the Insula and the Amygdala so we can slowly get out of that cycle and move forward. Russ, that one comment really pulled this together for me, thank you.

This reduced some of the chronic pain that has been worrying. It worked so well that when the pain I was focusing on went down from a 5 to a 2, some other pain in a different part of the body came to the forefront. When I meditate again this evening I will see which pain is at the forefront and see how many series of tapping is required to peel away all the noticeable layers of physical pain and perhaps reveal some hidden mental or emotional pain that may drive the severity of the physical pains. Looking forward to incorporating this technique into my practice.

I love tapping. It works very quickly. There is another thing you can do and that is to go back to the event on your timeline of life and change the story to a good outcome. The old story is still there but is replaced in frequency to the new story to give you a better outcome of frequency to the "now". When you carry old trauma frequency with you throughout your life, it depresses your overall vibration of who you are. Replace it with a good one. The old one lives in the Akashic Records as does the new one, but you are able to function on a higher frequency wave. Thank you Russell. Love this.

Thank you for reminding me of the tapping. I used to do this when I felt extreme anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. In my past I suffer from chronic pain and have a movement disorder. Anxiety would come on just walking thru the park and twitching and everybody looks at you. So after time I just stopped going to social gatherings didn’t want to see my family cause I just get the feeling sorry for me vibes! I don’t like that so I’m slowly trying to get back to my roots. I have been meditating using crystals for therapy. For years. I was just looking forward to your videos for the first time in 3 years I started meditating with you. It’s helping me greatly. I really appreciate how far you’ve come. I’m so proud of you.

I learned about tapping in 2006 at a Tony Robbins event... It really can work! I once stopped pain with it... I had surgery and my incision site came open and I had a nurse with their hand on my wound. It was so painful that I started tapping. I probably looked crazy! But next thing you know, the pain stopped, I could still feel the pressure of her trying to stop the bleeding, but I was no longer in pain. So crazy!!

Hi Russell and all - I came back here to find the tapping session because it worked so well on a previous session on here with Nick, during Covid. My issue went away completely for a couple of years and is about a 1/2 on the scale now, every now and then, but hardly at all. I'm back, and have tried it in this session on a current issue and it went from a 9 to a 5, I could feel becoming lighter through the session. Why I came back is because I'm watching a video of Richard Vobes talking with Philly J Lay an Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) practitioner (England) and want to comment on there about how successful the technique is through doing it with Nick on your show by just giving it a go. Thank YOU so much for your bright and uplifting energy which radiates out of the screen in sunshiny beams.

@@taptheunlimited no, EFT tapping is far simpler and easier to use than TFT, which has many different protocols. Gary Craig, founder of EFT learnt the basics from Rodger Callahan, the founder of TFT. And, then Gary simplified his process into one straightforward protocol that is so easy even a child can learn it. However, the subtle nuances of emotions, beliefs, behaviours and subconscious patterns etc are what we as therapists are adept at facilitatiting to achieve emotional relief.

A decade or more ago and as the result of massive amounts of trauma, I had developed severe PTSD. At its worst, it was completely and I do mean completely debilitating. In a matter of a week or two I had developed a stutter that eventually was seemingly all-consuming. It started with a few words, then sentences then eventually every time I tried to utter anything at all. Fortunately, I had recently found a therapist who was in tune with what I was experiencing and (unbeknownst to me) he knew how to help. One day I walked into his office, my eyes swollen with tears, I opened my mouth and stuttered nonstop. He gently coached me through it letting me know it was in fact PTSD and it had basically come to a head. He immediately began teaching EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to me. EFT is quite possibly the forerunner to many modernized tapping techniques. It uses the same pressure points and the same method of using 2 or 4 fingers and in the same progression beginning with between or above the eyebrows and ending with under the armpit or the crown chakra area. Much of the wording is quite similar. EFT brought me out of that chaotic state and into a place of being present again. It helped me cope through the next step that my therapist did which was regressive hypnosis. It may have seemed extreme though extreme measures were exactly what was needed. I regressed back to age 5. I had a stuck memory of a loved one who was threatening suicide and other bits and pieces that came with that, such as how another loved one was panicking and etc and so forth. A memory that I had buried so deep that the only way my subconscious could tell me that it was there was by sending a signal to the rest of my body in the form of a stutter. In one session, that memory was let go of, and I was healed. I've since used EFT on occasion for other reasons. If I felt stressed about a job interview or going on a new date etc. Learning EFT not only helped save my psyche, also EFT has become a tangible tool that I may use most anytime, anywhere. Thank you for sharing this informative and poignant video and of this magnificent (and free!) healing modality Russell and Nick. Namaste

It's a very trapped feeling. Who feels safe when trapped?!? Letting go and having the freedom from all those reoccurring thoughts and feelings, feels safe. These tapping techniques are wonderful and evolved thousands of years ago in the ancient practice of Qigong, a physician, Louhan, evolved them to help his patients recover full health. If you tap every day, you become attuned to your body and your body will let you know what it needs. Tapping releases blockages and ignites circulation, energy flows to wherever it's needed and deep rooted stress can dissipate. Its straightforward and simple and we can do it whenever we need it. In qigong we practice it daily 💕

Please note it can be used simply for basic stress relief as per the video, but it can also be used for profoundly deep core issue work with advanced training. Please seek a practitioner for high trauma as the basic application can bring things more to the surface and there are much safer ways to work with Tapping than the basic application.

Thank you for sharing 😊. I’m happy to see you leaning into to the guru role Russell, I feel like I learn a lot from you and appreciate you opening these new paths for me and many others.

That was AMAZING!! I was so stressed and anxious. As I tapped and thought about the two things making me feel that way I realized there was an underlying fear there that was weighing me down. Ill be honest, its not gone but I do feel like I can breathe easier, lighter and not so overwhelmed.
I was a little skeptical at first but wow...I do feel so much better.
Thank you Russell. I really truly needed that 😊❤

I've been tapping for almost 10 years (after tuning into the Tapping World Summit by The Tapping Solution). I lost 30 lbs, adapted and upgraded my lifestyle and healthy habits, and alleviated a lot of aches and pains, etc... Also - I have brought my tarantula phobia from a 13 (out of ten!!!) down to something like a 5 or 6. Incredible stuff!

I wish more people knew about tapping, it's fantastic. Of course Nick Ortner is pretty much the tapping guru, I've been following him and his sister Jessica for years, but I also recommend Brad Yates' videos, he has a very calming presence and his sessions are really good.

This tapping technique is like magic!
I recently went thorough an experience of being attacked legally, and otherwise, on a continuing basis, for months. Long story, but, this tapping technique helped me tremendously, to calm my mind, straighten out my thinking so that I could respond intelligently, not react, day after day, tapping multiple times some days. Eventually coming out triumphant in the end. Quick comment on a very complicated situation, but wanted to add my voice to those that know: This works, when used!

I tried this and I have whole interwoven tangles of memories of different traumas emerging, I'm trying to take them one by one. It's like the little girl in me is still frozen in time and terrified...she just wants an adult to see her so she's not totally alone. Who would have known that adult would be her 32 year old self.. I have just so much to get through but it's just the beginning and I'm determined to get through the layers of sludge
