I remember they came to Portland Oregon in the 1900’s at the fair we were in the second row right in the front. Raphael was singing it never rain in Southern California. Iived in East Oakland for 35 years, and used to see them all the time, but people don't understand Oakland was the kind of place where there was so much Talent there, it was nothing to see Stars and especially the Raiders, OMG ❤ so many memories 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good for them. I look back on The Dells. They worked together for decades without any problems, in fighting or egos. They were just STRAIGHT UP MEN that sang beautiful songs with soul. Only other group that didn't have friction was The Four Tops.

I just attended their concert in New Orleans this weekend, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I was 8 years old watching their videos on Video Soul, and to be able to see them in person at 43 years old was a beautiful moment. My mom loved their music, and my 22 year old daughter plays "Anniversary " all the time. I love their music ❤❤!
