Thanks for this video. I just grinded off that right angled hump along the spine of my bootlegger and it's much smoother now.

If those teeth were meant to use as a saw they would be pointing the other way The way they are pointing when you stick it into a animal and pull back out it will create shock And create additional damage

Hi, in my opinion, they are meant to be used for notches and help to separate some other softer (than the steel) materials. You generally said, they are meant to be weapon, and cause more damage. Well, if you have this knife, you know the handle is relatively thin and slim without any guard which is not good for any fighting tool. When you pull it back, you need to have a good grip, if your hand is covered by blood, it is even worse, that is, why I mean, it is not for that purpose (definitely on some other knife it could be). Have a great time. FM

You know that if you stop the autofocus of your camera and change to unlimited focus you would get better results?
Beside of this I always appreciate your reviews.
    Thanks a lot.

So what you demonstrated is that if you need to cut wood, use a foldable silky saw and forget the Ranger Bootlegger 2? ;)

:-)))) Something like that, but it could be hard to make a tip on a stick with the Silky;-) No, actually I was surprised with the saw back. I knew I can do many things with it but cut in half a dried branch is something hard to see on YT even now. I demonstrated what you can do with such a relatively light and short knife if there is a saw back on it. We can saw down say a 2" thick dry brunch from a tree if needed with this sized knife and that is not usual. Of course, a combination - a knife and a Silky saw is much better;-) Thanks for the comment anyway. FM

Hi, I don´t own TOPS BOB knife, but if you ask which version is tougher (154CM/1095) esp. on the tip, seems to me, they have not really big difference, the blade is thick enough for the size. I personally would go for 154CM because stainless. FM
