Hi there Paul, Campervan Tales pointed us in your direction! Liking your vlog here and channel as a whole! Big fans of the Lake District but liking the idea of you taking viewers to more unusual spots! Kind regards, Simon and Elaine😎👍
Love this channel. Originally from Cockermouth and now living far, far away. I really enjoy watching your videos and ‘tours’ of places I know (and miss). Thanks! 👍
Just wanted to say thanks for your informative videos. We watched them prior to our holiday in the Lakes and they were definitely really useful in helping us to plan our week away. Keep up the good work!
Added to our list and definitely will be having a swim by the bridge. Now, has that lower path eroded away, or has it erodedhendroned away. Sorry, couldn't resist. Stunning falls. I think it will be a while before we can climb the path though with peg leg😀
I was watching a plane on flight radar, & it flew over Stanley Ghyll waterfall, so went into Google & they sent me this video of the waterfall & it's really spectacular ( worth watching).
My kids are now fed up of me going “ooooh look at this! I want to go and see this while we are on holiday!” Roll on next week and thank you for the inspiration
There is an alternative route, rather than follow the river you can continue up the farm track, however I’ve never been that way so I’m not sure how suitable it would be.

Another great video Paul
Good day out and you found a free car park as well hush wow 😉
Thanks Kevin. A free car park in the Lake District! Now that is something you don’t see every day! 😀

Erodedhendroned 🤦♂️ Oh dear 😂. Haven’t swam there myself for 30 years! Still popular though.
@@ThatllDoVlog I really couldn't resist😁😂
what an amazing experience - and brilliantly filmed!
Thanks Fred 😀👍🏻
Looks amazing, love your videos. Got lots of ideas of places to visit for my first time in the Lakes just 8 days to go 😁
Thank you. I hope you enjoy your trip. 😎👍🏻
That’ll do! Nice one 👍😁

Thank you John. 👍🏻 Flight Radar - or in my case Plane Finder - is something I spend hours on! I am a bit of an aviation nut! 😀

😂I know what you mean. Mine are the same whenever we go anywhere. Thank you for watching and enjoy your trip. 😎👍🏻
LOL No I wasn't thinking that.
Definitely worth a visit.
I don’t think many people will remember that. 😂
I remember the bridge and boot!
i remember walking up to the higher falls and standing right on the edge
Rather you than me 😮 I’m not really one for heights. 😀👍🏻
@@ThatllDoVlog lol, there is a path up the left hand side but they don't like you using it now
That’s right. I think it’s the one that had washed away at the time of recording this video.
@@ThatllDoVlog more than likely
Is there another route up to the platform that's is a bit more child friendly?
