What a wonderful activity. I could have used one of those when I had my three apple trees. Each summer my neighbor would have a neighborhood apple press day. I love to garden. On my wishlist for Portugal land is fruit trees to make jams, desserts, and juices. I’ll definitely have to use one of those contraptions If I end up with some apple trees. Enjoy our hot cider with cinnamon sticks on a cold day! That was fun. Thanks for sharing.
Nice Apple Video - after the Windows video *XD* ... Oh men. Btw my grandparents did Liquor from Apples in the Area Lahr/Schwanau (special in Wittenweier) They where very good and lots of people know them in the Schwarzwald and Schwanau Area.
If you would make real apple cider you could keep it for long time, it will add more time and work of course ;) but if you let it ferment you can keep it for a year or so.
I think I prefer to freeze whole pieces by peeling, quartering and coring. Then just add the pieces to your cooking or smoothies. I think you retain a lot more of the healthy fibre and there is less degadation if they are not crushed for long term freezing. Also less effort.
Yes, it's very common in Nordic countries, well, at least Sweden, but I guess they do that in Denmark also, especially on older houses, many other countries in Europe open windows inwards, not sure why it's different or why we open outwards, I guess it's like doors, we open doors outwards also, many countries open doors inward.
This is a case where Apples can do the job much better than Windows at producing the correct outcome. Windows would probably just crack trying to make cider and I am sure drinking the windows version would give you the blue screen of death. ;)
yess another video from my favourite RUclipsr :)
Thank you,, you are to kind... :-)
No he's my favourite RUclipsr
A long time ago, I came here for Lenovo and ended up staying for the bunker and now cider! :D
Same here lol
Yes I am all over the places,, but I am making a video about the Lenovo today :-)
It's the juice and processing that which keeps you healthy Morten .)
Keeps me more fit,, then the juices it self :-)
Need to find a place to mount that cruncher somewhere (between two tables or something)! Thanks Mort for another great video!
Yes,, this setup can be improved upon!!

I made hard apple cider last year. Missed it by about 2 weeks this year. It was cloudy but delicious.

Who needs Steve Jobs when we have The Vi-King of Random!!! Nice video as usual Morten.
Well there was not much Appel left after I was done with them :-)
could try and put a net under the tree, that way bugs wont eat em up and your robo buddy can keep mowing.
ahh it takes like 2 min. to remove them.. not that bad.
I'm surprised you didn't try to put a motor on some of it to make it easier 🤔
Maybe use the Ryobi drill
Or use a juicer and put in the apples one by one, I guess it'll take less than 5 hours and not as tiring
I for sure want to try that...
Take the handle off and put the shaft in the drill 😁
Sound as a good idea, only, the shaft is mounted on the base and doesn't turn.
@@user-marco-S the grinder not the squeezer 🤦🏻
@@robintodd3901 Ok, it was not really clear for me what you meant. English is a difficult language (and sometimes confusing).
I might try something like that :-)
You can get a lot more force turning that press handle by pulling it towards you instead of trying to push it away :)
I tried all the directions,, I did also not want to break anything :-) I could just extent the handel... longer more power.
Top tip don't drink the cider when your fitting the windows 🍷😎👍
I will try to remember that. :-)
But who needs to be first when I am posting such a quality comment?
Thank you for this quality comment,, i was not expecting this high a quality :-)
Last episode: Windows 🪟 (server)
This episode: Apple 🍎(cider)
Yes,, this is fore sure edge computing :-)

Ved du hvad slags æble det er du har? Du nævner også at æblejuicen hurtig bliver dårlig, er det mindre end en uges tid?
No I do not know what Appels I have here,, and the juices becomes bad in just a few days.

Maybe a modification of the cruncher is hook it up to a bicycle and peddle your way. :)

Maybe a stupid question, your windows (new one) are opening outside?
If yes, why ?

In the UK our windows generally open outwards
@@rustandmagic thank for the response
Yes,, they do,, all of my other windows ,, ahh except two, also do that. I could choices when I ordered.
🌟🌟great 🌟🌟
This video was a bit of a squeeze :-)

Yes and Linux is also pretty useless,, well unless you like penguin juices :-/
With that job who needs exercise?
Well 2-3 hours cleaning appels,, was just tedious :-)
Apple cement vinegar

Hard work!
Cool brand name on that namchine... "Green>it" :D
Yes really random!!
Apple juice not cider. Takes more time to make Cider 😉
as I have understood it "juice not cider" depends on the country you are in,, it is also juice here. :-)
