Sanskrit and Tamil are clasical languages. Odia and other language Acquired the STATUS based on condition that language must have 5000Year old scriptures and culture. so Odiya is one of the oldest language with classical Status. so classical language is not the same as classical status language.
So the question is how does that benefit Tribals ? ..... Tribal languages are more sweet ancient and have scientific features not even studied yet properly by scholars language scientists ....see this is the hypocrisy of people in India who belongs to so called classical language speaking community ,they just talk about themselves only they admire about tribal are their forests to exploit for minerals , rivers, mountains and natural resources to just destroy for their community to prosper .... Odia is new language as compaired to tribal languages not to forget it is just broken version of sanskrit ,but yes got treatment and lime light like royals among languages in odisha so it is much more spoken and developed , but Santali has done very hard work to reach till 8th schedule of Indian constitution santali really deserves that .... Poor little tribals have always fought and still fighting for their survival and existence, not even a single among these classical language communities have suffered like tribals talking about classical language status and proud

I am Hungarian, and I do not know much of India, so this song too, was new to me. But I am amazed by the country, its cultural diversity, food, and people. Please be proud of yourself and share your tradition far and wide. You can keep the English language so that we can communicate with each other but you have much more in your unique heritage, history, and literature than Britain has ever had. I am happy they were unable to destroy this beautiful country. But they did a lot of damage. I have some Indian friends who are more Western than a Briton. I wish I could master Sanskrit one day.
This is the tribal culture of Odisha. One of the states of India. The country has vastly different tribal culture from eastern to western states. from northern to southern states. There are so many tribal cultures who have different languages, cuisine, and lifestyle. They are only united by the constitution of India. The thing is sanskrit language is in no relation with their language.
I'm a saura tribal frm odisha but it is sad but true Christian missionaries forcefully converted to our tribal people ....not only they converted to our community, they are destroyed our millions of years culture and tradition n identity ... #stopconversion Govt should be take proper steps to stop conversion .... Day by day we are lost our identity n culture .... In our community, my relatives are also converted to Christianity ..

They're are singing in multiple languages (Tribal languages) and also in odia , i can understand Ho and Santali ( these two tribal languages are spoken in North Odisha mainly in Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts)

I also LOVE those ancient cultures from the depth of my soul. I happened to visit the places where some groups of so called Adivasi live, in December 1999. They were very interested to hear where I come from, Paraguay, where also so called "indians" (natives from South America) live, in similar social conditions as the Adivasi.
I felt their deep sensitivity towards the natives of Paraguay, being myself one of them.
I went to India in order to learn Ayurveda Medicine, which is also in many ways very similar to our tribal medicine in Paraguay, but is being destroyed and forgotten. 😢
Anyway, I keep those memories as treasures in my heart ❤
