The first time I saw Snake Eyes meet Timber was through the G.I. Joe miniseries of 1983. It was really good, because the two really bonded. Snake Eyes saw Timber as a scared and hurt creature, that needs help. Timber saw Snake Eyes as a kind and good person. Thus, making them a perfect match on the battlefield. While Snake Eyes handles what's in front of him, Timber watches his back. Both show mutual concern for his each other, when things get rough or dangerous.
I kinda liked what they did with the ninjas looks in this version of the GI Joe series. Storm Shadow despite being a ninja in the modern world he prefers the traditional style. Snake Eyes having the same training as Storm Shadow adjust his style to somewhat fit in the modern world. And last but not least Jinx who takes her ninja style to a more futuristic look. Past, present, & future of the ninja art.

I remember Law & Order. I can't remember if Mutt & Junkyard were in this series as well.

It was fine. The animators could've done more work on it, but it was fine.
