  • A car that's very rare today...and stunning in appearance! Renault engine midships. Fiberglass body bolted to steel frame.

    Great car!
As i mentioned yesterday, i got a ride in a neighbor's (1973 model) back around 1974. The car just zipped around corners, was likely the best handling car i've ever ridden in, albeit one sits at quite the difficult angle in one.

Described by some enthusiasts as looking like a squashed bread van. Some Europa trivia - the front bumper is one from the reverse-rake rear screen 1959-67 Ford Anglia, fitted upside-down. Unfortunately my source of that info didn't inform me of the origins of the rear bumper, but I'd take a gamble it was from Ford again.

Hey, Mick! That's interesting to know...evidently American manufacturers weren't the only ones to borrow from the parts bin! Thanks! :) Jack

Front steering was from Triumph spitfire as were the front hubs and callipers, the rear brakes were Ford Cortina with Hillman imp stub axles through specially created alloy bearing carriers.

That indeed is a lot of parts sharing! Thanks for that information! :) Jack

The wheels are after market, not original. The original wheels were steel lotus wheels with chrome hubcaps.
