BTW: I saw Wonka twice in theaters last year. Timothee sang several songs and full songs.

Dylan made such a huge difference in music, help shaped a lot, I’m interested in all these music movies . And you’re right about the Amy Winehouse movie. I was disappointed. I love her and that movie didn’t do her justice

You need to check out the Folk music scene of the early 1960’s, woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan and Joan Baez were the most pro and many groups too.

@@frankieboy8414 I’m not judging the movie. I haven’t seen it yet. But the trailer is supposed to give you a preview of what it is. So I’m judging what it is being presented.

I’m sure you noticed, I like to ramble a lot and give a lot of thoughts on other movie things related before playing the trailer. I almost use it as an excuse to rant. Plus it adds a lot more content to the reaction. I wouldn’t wanna just steal the trailer and play it in full without adding anything transformative.

1. Mangold said it's an ensemble piece about the folk music scene in the early 60s: Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez, etc. [Not just about Dylan, who wasn't exactly a struggling artist.]
2. It's 100% Chalamet's voice. His vocal coach was Eric Vetro, who also worked with Austin Butler on Elvis.

Im excited as a big bob dylan fan, but this definitely feels a TON like Walk the Line but just with Bob Dylan instead of Johnny Cash lol

@@danivy99 yeah i agree with ya though in that it's not super exciting if this is just a paint by numbers kinda deal for Mangold. Heres hoping it differentiates itself enough to not be just super uninteresting.
@@hippityhoppityw It covers just one chapter of Dylan's life, so covers much less ground than Walk the Line and most biopics. Mangold also said it's an ensemble piece, about the folk music scene in NY in the 60s.

The fact that James Mangold is doing this flick; I’m confident it will be good. I loved Walk The Line; I’m sure A Complete Unknown will be good. I strongly disagree with you about Baz Lurhman’s Elvis with Austin Butler. We can agree to disagree; no worries brother.🥷
