It’s your favorite Scranton ghostie! I’ve never left a comment or review but it’s definitely time. Hope leaving it here is ok. Not only are you my favorite podcast, but you’re one of only two podcasts I keep up with on a regular basis. No matter what you guys are talking about, you bring humor, fun, and show the love of Christ in everything you do. Thank you for everything you do. The ghostie getaway goes down as the best vacation of my life thus far. Love you guys. Keep doing your thing.
Engineer here! I was dying at the warm air/cold air debate, because y’all were basically discussing Bernoulli’s equation (equation that relates velocity, area, and pressure). I had the same passionate and confused rants when I was in fluid mechanics class, 3 years later and I still don’t fully get it 😅
I gave birth to my first baby in August, I was able to go completely unmedicated which was my prayer for my delivery! in the really ouch moments, i told myself “you can do anything for one minute” & shoutout to kathryn for that incredible line because it genuinely helped so much! also brad is right… birth is the BEST
1. Out of context: if I can see your tongue, put it away! 2. I tend to have about shoulder height but I do wave and say hi to everyone! 3. Excuse me, standing in the balcony of a concert!? Brother could those people not see over the people they were above? Agree with straight to jail! 4. Dumb question: were my questions supposed to actually be dumb or just a question in general? Idk how but I might have misunderstood it at the time… 5. “Well cough dam!” I’M SOOOO using that! 6. Ok I get the rhythm part of the new alphabet song but the old version reigns superior! 7. Splitting the alphabet song into teams would be a good idea for Ghostie games. Except we may end up with different alphabet denominations. 8. Man some of those questions were really rattling my mind! And also, for some of the ones we all wanted to ask, I’m glad they were asked! 9. Wait I didn’t know Scoresesy was a director’s name. I thought it was just a word the pod invented! 10. There’s something about all your laughs that I just love! Anytime you all are laughing gets me laughing too and it’s just…satisfying! Thx you guys!
Venturi effect… blowing out through tight lips increases airflow velocity, and reduces airflow volume. This pulls in and mixes with a lot of ambient air, which is cooler than body temperature, and it cools down quickly. Blowing through an open mouth is a larger volume and lower velocity airflow, so it takes longer for that larger volume of body temperature air to mix with room temperature air.
According to my son’s construction book (complete with accompanying sound effect buttons) they use a pile driver to pound posts into the bedrock of the riverbed. This was new information to me
My husband and I went to a rooftop wedding and it was 103° during the ceremony. I reached to hold his hand during the opening prayer and he leaned over to whisper “we don’t have to hold hands every time we pray”.
In high school, there was a couple that would walk with the guy behind the girl, arms around her waste .. literally imagine like spooning but while walking. I don't know how to describe it better than that. It was the most uncomfortable thing for everyone around.
12:27 Jake I’m sorry but your just wrong here. If I’m going to a concert about a band I’m really passionate about I’m standing and singing and as Timon said “really getting into it” it just makes the experience more emotional and fun!
In regard to the air conditioner/furnace question: my dad, who has owned an HVAC company for 40 years says this, "Humidity, draft of colder air, ......" (I left the punctuation and extra spaces in his answer to increase his credibility as a boomer HVAC guy).
Additional information: "There's a thing called cold 70 best example is when you walk by all the freezers in the frozen aisle at the grocery store if you feel the cold air or you feel the cold but it's still 70."
Jake! I make an AMAZING ground turkey spaghetti! My two teenage boys and all their friends love it. But I hope one day you’ll be able to eat red meat without feeling sick sooner than later!
Was definitely yelling at my phone “you beat the rug” when y’all were talking about vacuums. 😄 When I was a kid, my great grandma had a manual vacuum that she called the sweeper. Us kids thought it pretty fun to play with.
I can’t stand it when people stand when they don’t need to stand either. Also I am SO excited for Jake and the possibility of being able to eat red meat again. The convenience alone will make things so much better for him.
Timon is so funny in this episode. Can't wait for T on C. Might actually bring me to Indiana. Is it going to be worth the 4 hours there and back? Probably since Jake Tripplet is my favorite (and only) youtuber i watch
Oooh! We just had a bridge completely replaced over the river that comes directly out of our dam here in Perry. Looks like a lot of equipment and they built something around the pillars to keep the water back.
Big mouth, small mouth air temp difference is velocity. This is a great episode, so much googling over here 😅 You can definitely blow the same speed, big or small.

TIAAAAA, I’m so glad you had a ball in Gulf Shores 😆

@@AbbyElizabeth03 are you still in the area?!?! Id always be down to talk about the podcast, or if you like pickleball, im trying to get into it 🙃
If Timon would’ve finished his history class he would know about Watergate 😂

Timon describing Willem Dafoe as “he’s always looked old” is truly the perfect description. Made me laugh out loud on my drive to work.

This episode is even funnier than usual 😂
I have never sang the alphabet so much in one day after todays pod 😊
Brad was a little extra spicey today! 🤣 Laughed out loud a lot this episode. Thanks guys!
Just realized I didn’t finish the episode…JAKE I’m so happy for you to have a chance to eat red meat again! Praying it works for you! 🙏🏻
I learned about vacuums on Downton Abbey. Before that they swept the rugs.

My favorite educational podcast!
I'm so completely on board with Brad on the alphabet song!! Like from all angles of his argument! 💯
My grandparents had a manual vaccum. They would let us sit on the base while they vaccumed.
According to my son’s construction book (complete with accompanying sound effect buttons) they use a pile driver to pound posts into the bedrock of the riverbed. This was new information to me
Love that “No Dumb Questions” is basically “Ask ChatGpT”
Also trying to convince my wife that my new love language is PDA 🤣

45:51 Hey, Brad, Goofy did graduate from college in An Extremely Goofy Movie...Just sayin'
Timon would have made a great Steve on Blues Clues
Happy Winsday, Ghosties!! You know it's a good day when there are no dumb questions!

i am crying at speed vs area debate.
Brad, I thought you were going to say something about “Patrick Ewing” when it came to the advice in the delivery room.
I am only halfway through the segment but as someone who sings the ABCs with kids at work every day, I am laughing so hard.
T -U -V!!!
10:00 - Creed's a maybe...
Madi falling asleep at the concert 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Makes us all look like idiots trying to figure out how to sing the alphabet differently prank!!
I heard that bagels have holes because street vendors held them on sticks (slid into the holes) as they walked around.

Also funny how the seg no dumb questions is us just getting Jake to Google the answers we are to lazy to google
Just watched the ‘Here’ movie trailer! Looks really good. Thanks Brad/Timon!
I am rolling 😂😂😂 this alphabet thing😂😂😂
This episode is amazing 🤣🤣

The width difference between school bus and car is more to do with the inside - the width I f the people 😂😂😂😂😂
First they take the original baby shark and now the alphabet?? Why are they doing this to us😭
RIP TUV
