Woolacombe Dunes

The second toughest parkrun in the UK? I cannot say for sure, as I haven't done whichever one is the toughest. It is however, the toughest UK parkrun I have done and took me a while to get round, which is why this video is a somewhat longer than normal. I can tell you this, the toughest parkrun has a lot to live up to, in order to beat Woolacombe Dunes.
I really enjoyed it though, while it was a bit drizzly that morning, that did not take away from the fun. I did think before I started that there's no way that the "Dune of Doom" is as bad as they make it out to be...
I was wrong.
I was very wrong.
It was also brilliant, and horrible, but mostly brilliant.
Super friendly volunteers and loads to do and see in the surrounding area. Woolacombe Dunes is definitely worth the trip. Though, play safe and plan on getting home a little later than usual.
