Another brilliant way to learn fatiha is to download Quran on phone and listen to one verse multiple times (can select a replay of a singular verse) and basically try shadow (repeating afterwards best you can) each time after the reciter says it. It helps a lot!

But he has no idea how the alphabet in Arabic should sound like. If he is not reading the English pronunciation of the Qur’an he might mistake some letters and it would be very difficult for him to learn the correct pronunciation. Just like Arabs always mistaking P & B for example they would say I barked my car instead of parked my car. You could argue that the letter P does not exist in the Arabic language so Arabs don’t know it, but they can always learn it, yet somehow they keep mistaking P for B even after spending 20-40 years in an English speaking country. They hear the word peach and somehow manage to switch it to b*itch. It’s a scientific fact that not all people hear the same thing sound wise and that does not mean they have hearing problems. It’s just the way God created us
Download the app Ayat, and within that app download a recitation from your choice, that way when you play it you can listen and read verse by verse with the translation also
Qaria ASMA HUDA does a fantastic job. I've memorized some really hard for me to pronounce words & verses by listening to her. I strongly recommend her to the reverts. May ALLAH reward her and others that have helped too in this world and the hereafter. Aameen. Mishary Al Rashid is my favourite. Qaria ASMA HUDA I listen for memorizing.

Trust me i tried fasting a little last ramadan before i took my shahadah it was SO difficult but this time around its much easier, itll get easier and youll learn how to function without food or water during the day and not get hangry (like i did a lot🤣). The easiest way to learn to read the quran is to buy an "iqra" book. with that book you can start learning from letter by letter for example "alif, ba, ta" to sentence by sentence.

Ramadan is easy for majority muslims cz most of them do from early age , environment where all other are doing it and grow with it but for non-muslims or New Muslims its a test , its hard and seeing them taken on such a difficult task last minute is extremely courageous. Just a tip in reading the transliteration, when ever there is a gap, you stop for a short while. It will help you in your prononciation as well as in the memorization of the souds and writing of the words

Asalamualaikum A good way to learn how to read Arabic is to use a book called a kaida. Where it teaches you the Arabic alphabet at the start and then slowly throughout the book adds little bits. I would recommend going through this with the help of someone. Allahumabarik(may allah bless you)
