He has worked for over 40 years in permaculture in over 50 countries, most notably in the Jordan valley where he launched the “Greening the Desert” Project.
Zaytuna farm is home to a thriving community of eco-minded people all committed to sustainable living.

Lots of controversy on the translation of the Arabic " Farj "...Maybe the moron SFEY knows the real translation. Surely, Arabic speakers know the meaning of FARJ...Is it Vahina ?
Qur'anic verses 21:91 and 66:12 suggest that Allah breathed into Maryam's Farj in order to conceive Isa. When looking at the tafsirs we find that Allah did this by sending the angel Jibreel to complete this task. The word "Farj" is used in these verses to indicate where Allah/Jibreel blew, and Farj means "??????." The verse uses "Farjaha" which means "her ??????."

I have been following Jeff Lawton for over 10 years, and always loved his work and learned a lot from him. I always hoped he were Muslim. This video made me very happy and gave me goosebumps, because I found out one my favorite people on earth is a Muslim alhamdulillah

I actually have been following Geoff for a while sorry Jamal 😊..and 2 years ago with my wife we started a regenerative farm in Egypt. I must say Zaytuna and greening the desert project were huge inspiration for me I always learn so much just listening to Geoff and now is actually my first time to know he has accepted Islam and It's made my day ❤. Honestly makes me extremely happy for his deeds to be inshaAllah rewarded wow this is really beautiful Alhamdulelah.

It's not finished. Permaculture is not Islamic farming.
Permaculture can inform islamic farming, but it's not a one to one match, so we need to get Geoff to islamise his legacy.

My family had the pleasure of spending a little time with Geoff and Nadia a few years ago when we looked into buying a plot at Zaytuna. They were so welcoming. Unfortunately it was not our destiny but it was a great experience to spend time on the farm with them.

I’ve been following Geoff since before 2020 but never knew he was a Muslim. I was so inspired since the beginning by his permaculture practice. I know so many other famous permaculture gurus were also inspired by him. MashaAllah!
He was inspired by Bill Mollison. No words for him. By the way, Geoff used to manage Bill Mollison farm before starting Zaytuna.

When I used to watch Jeff Lawtons permaculture videos I was so impressed by his knowledge and humility. I would pray to God for him to formally take shahada because I felt that he was already as Muslim as the trees, the earth, the plants and the sun. I wept with joy while watching this because my prayers were answered. May Allah grant him the highest level of Paradise for his great work and legacy.

I am a wannabe farmer and I have been following geoff lawton for years now. I try to practice Permaculture. The combination with islam gives me the internal peace I think most people searching for.

Its awesome seeing there are Muslims who follow their religion while being blended in the surrounding community,
Rather than few Muslims who become alien, make Islam hard for others and push other away from it.
do you wanna impress others non-muslims or Allah? every person is different, some likes to assimilate while others don't, by your comment it seems you're seeing from from a negative point of view. And its not the eyes but the hearts which are closed, those who tries to find truth finds Allah anyhow since it is Allah who guides people.
Alhamdulillah I got certified with my PDC from Geoff's course. Amazing knowledge. Much needed but sadly hard for jobs. InshaAllah will use practically myself one day
