When someone asks me if a Muslim is saved, I first want to point out God’s love towards them, and all of us. He still loves them with all His heart and that’s why he sent Jesus. God was willing to die for Muslims, for Hindus, for Buddhists, for Catholics, for atheists, for gays, for murderers, for you, for me, for all of us. The problem is NOT outward. It’s inward. Now, I am not saying Muslims are saved. There is a choice that we all must make. The Bible is littered with scriptures about not hardening our hearts. There are countless warnings about hell and the danger of unbelief. There is no way to God except through belief in Jesus.

*Summary of this video generated using ChatGPT* The transcript discusses the potential benefits and ethical challenges of artificial intelligence (AI) from an Islamic perspective. The speaker emphasizes the importance of responsible AI usage in line with Islamic principles, safeguarding human dignity, privacy, and accountability. They address concerns about bias in AI language models and the risk of misinformation spreading. The discussion also touches on AI's impact on society, including concerns about human relationships and potential misuse. The speaker encourages Muslims to engage with AI technology, understanding its limitations and working towards using it for positive contributions to the Islamic community and society as a whole. They stress the need for Muslims to be proactive in shaping AI's development to align with Islamic values.
A brilliant and essential conversation for all Muslims. Dr. Waleed Kadous is a very wise Muslim and human being. What he says should be discussed in all forums in Muslim countries if we are to successfully cope with 21st century challenges. In particular governments in Muslim countries and Muslim political leaders in non-Muslim majority countries should ensure that such enlightened and informed discussions take place in all forums including, mosques, educational institutions, the electronic and print media, social group meetings, parliamentary committees, speeches of political leaders, etc etc. There will be ferocious opposition from traditional quarters but if they are properly engaged with mutual understanding can emerge and the first step towards integrating the imperatives of the 21st century with our abiding faith can be taken.
Asalaamu Alaykum I am sure glad I watched this video and shared it with all family members! Nothing short of amazing information that is strongly needed!
SubhanAllah, it’s amazing to see how far technology has come with the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence in our daily lives. As Muslims, it’s important for us to stay informed and educated about these advancements, and this video with Dr. Waleed Kadous is a great opportunity to do so. It’s heartening to see a leading scientist in the field of AI discussing its impact on the Muslim community. May Allah guide us to use these advancements for good and benefit humanity. JazakAllah Khair to OnePath Network for bringing this important topic to our attention.
I remember reading about the resistance to printing technology by the Ottomans (if I'm not mistaken) but embraced by Christian Europe. The Europeans translated and published books after books that they obtained from Islamic Spain and progressed while the Ottomans were left behind and nicknamed as The Sick Man of Europe.
There was a reason behind the fact that the ottomans and scholars over the world were against it. First of all it would destruct the concept of seeking knowledge through the proper channels. The process of learning with a teacher gives you the context you need to really understand the knowledge in a way you cannot learn in books. The printing press was also a tool to shape and direct the thinking of the masses. Controlling the minds of millions became much easier with this technology, because the only you had to do was printing that which is in the interest of the elite. The printing press was also a tech which was used during ww2 to manipulate soldiers and was a powerful weapon for each side. It has its benefits,, Alhamdoulilah, I do not condemn the use of the printing press, but the story behind the initial rejection is more complicated than someone would think.
They didn't banned because they had people who use to write the books like an industry so they didn't want people loose their jobs. What caused their down fall was not printing books, but they neglected the duty of Jihad and indulged themselves for the dunya. The sahaba who crisscrossed the whole world wasnt technologically savvies, but they understood the word of Allah and applied to their daily lives. That is why we mention thier names continuously. So each one of us has to honestly ask ourselves how much time we devote to worshiping Allah SWT, how much Quran are we reading, or giving Sadaqa or helping people for the sake of Allah. If we are not doing this we will all be in the trap of Sheydan. Have some accountability to your soul, save your souls and then think about the Umah. However what I see is people who don't acount themselves accountable and still thinking they can save the Umah.
How beautifully conversation is conducted. I feel better after watching this video and knowing that there are Muslims out there who are at the forefront of the worldly things as well as their religion Islam.
I am three minutes into the video and literally loved the way this video is produced. I have seen many ads for one path network and believe that you my brothers are true to Allah. May Allah bestow his barakah in your mission and and grant me wealth so that I may fully support you guys. Amin.

It's gonna generate a lot of misinformation I mean if you type in am I transphobic for not wanting to date a woman because the person has a dick it would call you transphobic This type of ai was created by some group of people living in California Ai is just another tool to program your mind to think a certain way it's just another brainwashing conditioning tool it's just another step for globalist liberal brain washing and your fellow brothers and sisters stupid enough to let it creep in? Pathetic
Thank you so much brother for your information and bringing the most important guest in your show. I didn’t know our brothers has a high value knowledge Mash’Allah.
Always, when you combine the spiritual knowledge of Islam with any profound topic you get don't get distracted with wild thoughts, which is called wisdom, يؤتي الحكمة من يشاء And youtube algorithm noticed that my interests include AI and Islam, and decided to give me a video combining both! This was a brilliant video
Muslim scholars must train an Ai based on authentic Islamic sources like (Quran, Hadith, life of the prophets, Authentic Islamic Books, Etc) and make it available in as many languages as possible then put it up Online for public use, and constantly update it and correct its mistakes, it will be extremely beneficial, instead of searching through hadith book's for hours you could just ask the AI which hadith talks about this subject, and it will give you all of them with references. Or for a layman when he has a question and can't find a good scholar or a knowledgeable person, instead of searching on Google or ChatGPT and getting all kinds of misinformation. They can ask this Ai and get authentic correct answers.
How bout just don't use ai your only inevitably contributing to the problem it's not good for the ummah it's gonna brainwash society and effect the ummah my intuition saying it's not gonna be good and when I get that feeling of something not gonna turn out good I usually being right at the end
As-salamu alaykum everyone! 🕌 After watching this intriguing video, I believe it's essential for us as Muslims to approach the advancements in AI with an open mind and critical thinking. While AI can bring tremendous benefits to society, we must also be mindful of the potential challenges and ethical considerations it presents. As followers of Islam, let's remind ourselves of the core values our faith teaches us - compassion, empathy, and the pursuit of knowledge for the betterment of humanity. It is crucial for us to actively engage with AI developers and researchers, promoting responsible and ethical AI practices that respect human rights, dignity, and privacy. As we move forward, let's work together to harness the potential of AI while ensuring it aligns with the principles and teachings of Islam. By doing so, we can foster an AI-driven world that serves the greater good and enhances the lives of people from all walks of life. May Allah guide us to use technology responsibly and with wisdom. Ameen. 🤲🌍
Fascinating interview, and finally an appropriate use of clickbait title. 👍 I think Muslims should participate in the AI revolution. There is a ton of wisdom Islam can bring into the "Intelligence" part of "AI". However, applying AI to further ingrain religious beliefs is as nonsensical as asking if a submarine can swim. It's not a well-formed question. About 2/3rds of the other interview questions were very well thought out, and succeeded at extracting equally thoughtful and meaningful answers from Dr Waleed Kadous. Kudos to both of you!

While AI offers remarkable technological progress that can benefit humanity by enhancing efficiency and solving complex problems, it also poses significant ethical and moral challenges. Islam encourages the responsible use of knowledge and emphasizes the sanctity of life, human dignity, and empathy. The risk lies in the potential misuse of AI, leading to ethical dilemmas like loss of privacy, unemployment, and the creation of autonomous systems without accountability. It is essential for Muslims to approach AI with conscientiousness, ensuring its development aligns with Islamic principles, fostering compassion and the greater good for all of humanity.
Absolutely! You've beautifully summed up the dual nature of AI advancements. On one hand, it offers immense potential to uplift humanity and address complex issues, but on the other, it raises serious ethical concerns that must be addressed. Islam's emphasis on responsible knowledge usage and valuing human life and dignity aligns perfectly with the approach we should adopt towards AI. As Muslims, it is incumbent upon us to engage in discussions and initiatives that promote ethical AI practices. We must encourage the development of AI systems that prioritize privacy protection, fairness, and accountability. Let us be proactive in advocating for AI research and implementation that serves the greater good and benefits all of humanity. By approaching AI with conscientiousness and aligning its development with Islamic principles, we can pave the way for a more compassionate and equitable future. Together, let's strive to harness the potential of AI while safeguarding the rights and well-being of individuals worldwide. Thank you for highlighting these critical considerations! 🙏🤝🌍

I'm not Muslim but this was an incredible interview. He made a really good point of how AI can be used to replace partners - they feel AI is a better alternative. How do you suggest we solve this?
It can't be solved. Im Agnostic and was born in Japan, where there is a Billion dollar porn industry for anything you can imagine already. Into little girls? We have Loli porn. Into dead bodies? We have necrophilia. Into feces? We have scat porn. Into animals? We have furries, Into violent assault? We have nonconsent, into men that look like women? We have traps. And the result of this, is that the birthrate becomes immensely low. Since anyone can already achieve anything based on what they personally like. AI will only make this sort of thing even easier. At least in the west, or middle east, there are laws against certain porn and it could be legal trouble if someone is caught. But in places like Japan where anything goes, it really can't be solved. And no matter where you go, people will continue to marry less. The human species will eventually need artificial wombs and mandatory sperm and egg cell donation to keep going. We are already discussing that in Japan lol

Even if you tell it to speak as if it is an anti LGBTQ proponent it will not do so. Second problem was when I wanted to know if one of my products was compatible with another, it said it is. When I double checked, they were not compatible at all. Masha Allah to this brother. He is very intelligent
Utmost respect for Dr Khalid waleed. You are amazing person sir. So much wise and knowledgeable specially in Islam. Hats off to you. We need more people like you.
I actually encountered the hallucination problem with AI so often! When you ask for example chatGPT to explain certain equation from textbooks (specially math and engineering ones), it says something ludicrous and when you explain the correct definition or derivation back to it, it apologizes 😅😅continuing the conversation becomes awkward!
This conversation reminds me of the hadith, "Before the Hour comes, there will be years of deceit, in which a truthful person will be disbelieved and a liar will be believed; and the insignificant will have a say’. (Ahmad)* I feel like AI will create so much fitna where ordinary people will find it difficult to separate falsehood from truth. 😢
Simply, he is the most intelligent person I have encountered in my life, because he is not only a savant, but he is a person who is conscious and aware of what the Almighty ALLAH is and how the Almighty made the creation and he not only leared Holy Quran by heart but knows what it means and that's the least I can say about this person. i am so proud of being a muslim because of this man and many like him

We must Validate whatever we get from AI in Quran and Sunnah!, not otherwise! Quran and Sunnah will always remain our ORIGINAL source of validation! NOT AI!
@@hewadsaad1378 Brother, it's still in its infancy. It made up a whole case when a lawyer in the US used it to get information and he cited that case as precedent, obviously embarrassing him in court lol. It may fabricate fiqah or even worse! That's my point.
I very much loved his finishing statement. We need to be at the forefront of technological change so that we can be aware of how it can be used to in a positive manner and how it can be used in a negative manner so that over time we can see which way it’s shifting and be there to call people out if it’s going in a bad direction and be the ones who are using it in a positive manner that makes the access of knowledge for the Muslims even better. In Shaa Allah the Muslims will adopt this mindset and this time round we stay ahead of the curve and product positives than be in the dark only to embrace it later.

More recently it was proven forensically by J Warner Wallace, a cold case homicide detective, in his book, “Person of Interest”. Wallace gives ample evidence to convince any jury the veracity of the Bible. Bible firsts include: knowing about ocean springs and mountains, that life is in the blood, that the earth hangs on nothing and is a sphere, and there is much more. The Bible predates the Quran by six hundred years.

Printer was banned in the Muslim land by the Ottomans for almost 200 years and it was a major set back for us
They didn't banned because they had people who use to write the books like an industry so they didn't want people loose their jobs.
@@YA-xo7ru this is the the bitter truth about the majority of us around the globe. we need to go back to basics before it's too late.

يؤتي الحكمة من يشاء
And youtube algorithm noticed that my interests include AI and Islam, and decided to give me a video combining both!

After watching this intriguing video, I believe it's essential for us as Muslims to approach the advancements in AI with an open mind and critical thinking.

I think Muslims should participate in the AI revolution.
Islam is a way to purify the heart from sin and anxiety in the world... Islam is an encouragement to live to keep thinking positively about the world..
This is very insightful to look at AI from an Islamic POV.. Masya Allah
I too worked for a long time with AI, but I stopped using it because I catched it making things up, lying, or sometimes i think they don’t have access to certain books and they just talk nonsense.
I stopped using it because I had to fix lots of my projects

What a wonderful and peaceful discussion to enjoy. Dr Waleed Kadous is a good man in my view. Thank you for sharing.
I agree, the key is always be mindful toward what comes to you, through the lens of islam. May Allah always guide us

Wow! Great to listen from you both guys. Really an amazing content of conversation. Keep going ❤.
MashaAllah thank you for the interview. Very insightful especially the part about hallucinations. One solution to this is to make sure parents are doing their part. Making sure your children are full time Muslims, know both Islamic knowledge as well as the dunya.
Masha'Allah,Keep on doing...May Allah SWT bless you❤❤
I'm not Muslim but this was an incredible interview.
Please say the kalimah (Lā ilāha illallāhu muhammadur-Rasūlullāh) 100x or more and gain much reward. The more rewards the higher the grades in paradise...
The editing is so incredible Masha Allah!
I don't use chat gpt much but already found 2 problems. I once asked it to criticise the LGBTQ movement. No matter how you phrase that question it will always defend it.
May Allah Bless our Brothers and sisters of ummah with Jannah

I am very happy we have such tech gurus in Islam Alhamdullilah
I very much loved his finishing statement. We need to be at the forefront of technological change so that we can be aware of how it can be used to in a positive manner and how it can be used in a negative manner so that over time we can see which way it’s shifting and be there to call people out if it’s going in a bad direction and be the ones who are using it in a positive manner that makes the access of knowledge for the Muslims even better. In Shaa Allah the Muslims will adopt this mindset and this time round we stay ahead of the curve and product positives than be in the dark only to embrace it later.
Daily Reminder: Try to supplicate this dua every single day to become a habit.
1. Dua That Guarantees You Forgiveness (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) said:
"Whoever gets up at night and says:
La ilaha 'illa Allaahu, wahdahu la shareeka lahu
lahul mulku, wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa ala kulli shayin qadeer.
Subhana allaahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la illaaha ila Allaah,
wa Allaahu akbar, waLa hawla wa la quwwata illa billaah.

He has no partners, He has the Dominion and for Him is all praise,
and He is capable of all things, praise is for Him,
and Allah is free from imperfection,
and There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah,
and Allah is the Greatest,
there is no capability nor is there any power except with Allah.
"Then he says:
Allaahumma aghfirlee.
O Allah forgive me!
Or he supplicates and his supplication is answered,
and if he makes Wudhu and prays, then his prayer is accepted.

Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) said:

even if they are like the foam of the sea."
4. Phrases That Are Heavier On The Scales Than An Entire Morning Of
Recitation (Sahih Muslim)
Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) said:

these will be heavier." These are:
Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, 'adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi,
wa zinatah 'arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi.
Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise,
as many times as the number of His creatures,
in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the weight of His Throne
and equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words
(for His Praise).

have forbidden, and make me independent of all others besides You.
9. Dua Of The Treasures Of Paradise (Sahih Al-Bukhari, At-Tirmidhi)

Paradise?"

O, Allah! forgive the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men
and the believing women, the alive from them and the dead.
14. Benefits Reciting Surah Ikhlas
- Reciting 3 times a day is equivalent to reciting the whole Qur'an.
- Reciting 10 times a day and Allah will build for him a house in paradise.

he should die then, he will be from the people of Jannah. And if he recites
