- Here is an in depth review of Transformers Animated Voyager Class Megatron - the Cybertronian Megs. Covered in the review is the robot and vehicle modes, articulation, features, transformation, and size comparisons showing Megatron with other Animated figures, some more recent figures, and other renditions of Megatron. Personally I'm not a big fan of this figure, but hopefully this review can help you make up your own mind.

You can see how much the TF Animated look and figures influenced the "Prime" version of Megaton, and a several other characters, e.g., Starscream, Ratchet, ect.

Prime wasn’t even a concept yet
It sucks we never got a voyager class version of his earth mode, with his awesome swords, but the leader class one is technically in scale with the voyager class prime so I'm not too mad about it, but it's not in scale with all the other Decepticons
i dont think people should get annoyed or upset over a bit of gapyness or the fact that you can tell whats gonna be the legs or arms on a cybertronian vehicle, they arent really trying to disguise themselves normally are they? thats only on earth, cybertronians arent gonna care if the wings are legs or the front of the jet form are arms, if you ask me that would probably be somewhat normal on cybertron, but theyde still at least try to look like vehicles so it wouldnt be much
why the hell is it called Cybertron mode? and not Cybertronian mode

I hope to get this Voyager Megatron despite its flaws because I really love his Cybertronian mode in animated. HOT TAKE 🔥: I like his Cybertronian mode more than his earth mode. (Don't know why)
I honestly wished they did a leader class version of this figure, considering that his design is based on 2007 Megatron. And his cybertronian look should've been used the whole series.

I don't own Animated Leader Megatron. Some of the Leader Megatron figures that I do own and could review are the ones from ROTF, the 2007 Movie, and Cybertron.

Deluxe cybertronian megatron is far better to this. It may be in a two pack but the megatron in that 2 pack is far superior to this kibble fest. To be honest the robot mode seems like an after thought. They should've used the design for the deluxe to make this one.

The Cybertronian modes are always the more interesting versions of the characters. I'd like to see more of those!
If only War for Cybertron got its own full line of figures... really would like to have seen Arcee and Breakdown get their own figures.

0:37 thats obviously the right way round, i word it like that cause we see him transform in the first episode and thats the side facing forward when hes heading for the autobots ship, i dont see where the confusion comes from
Honestly I love how this looks more like galvatron then Megatron, like you could give this the galvatron colorsheme and it would still work
Nice review bro!!! Now I love Megatron as a character but this figure is flawed and it's because of the Damn cannon. There are better animated Megs out there to buy but if someone really wants this one id say only if it's dirt cheap. Thanks for the great review and all your hard work. P.S. It's never been done to my knowledge but I'd love for a 3rd party company to make an Animated Omega Supreme. Now that is one of my grails and I was just curious if you have a grail either real or imagined.
Thanks. There are probably too many grails that I've imagined over time to mention, lol! If I could pick out one it probably be a masterpiece or 3rd Party (preferably Mastermind Creations) Armada Starscream - one of my favorites in regards to personality and design and though the Thrilling 30 figure is pretty cool the character still needs a better figure. Altogether, I'd like to see the whole Armada cast redone by a 3rd Party company - there were a lot of unique designs in the show and while the original Armada figures had fun gimmicks and were cool in there own ways they weren't generally good representations of their show characters IMO.
I don't think I've heard of any Animated Omega Supreme figures. As far as any Armada or Animated remakes it will probably be a while before we get them. As far as Hasbro goes it seems as if they're focusing exclusively on G1 characters these days with occasional IDW characters. I don't follow many of the 3rd Party releases too closely (I'd just get too aggravated that I don't currently have the money to buy them, lol), but they generally seem to focus on G1 and the comics as well. However, I do believe Mastermind Creations is making certain Beast Machines characters such as Strika and Obsidian and with the Masterpiece lines covering BW characters now maybe some other lines will eventually get remakes too.
Hey so I just found out a Junkion Bot is going to be in TF5, Who knows it might be Wreck-Gar but when Im wondering is that do you think that the Junkion World and maybe Velocrian (Sorry if I mispelled that) worlds will be in TF5 because Optimus did go into space at the end of TF4 and maybe his quest to find the creators takes him to these planets filled with other Transformers. What do you think?
The dump truck is definitely a puzzling looking character. I'm not sure if he's been confirmed as a Junkion, but in any case I'm curious as to what his robot mode will look like.
In regards to other planets I had always figured Optimus would visit at least one to make a stop on his journey, but if the recent rumors are true than we could see him go straight to Cybertron and back to Earth. I don't think Velocitron is very likely to appear as the films haven't taken much inspiration from the Unicron Trilogy; nevertheless, I think that the races would be one of coolest possible TF concepts to see in the films - especially if they incorporated transformations into some of the tracks. If any other TF planets appear, Junkion seems to be a more probable one as its appearance in the 1986 film has probably made it more iconic
