I moved from Runway to Pika but kept getting frustrated by how it hardly follows my prompt guide (e.g. only wanting to animate water movement in an image, but some other odd effect blends in)... impressed with the first look at Moonvalley, just gave it a try
For Ai Video generators there's a tradeoff between visual quality (sharpness, realism, etc) and the amount of motion. So it's not necessarily best or worst but in terms of what you need. RunwayML: extremely high quality (probably the highest), low motion and movements though especially for humans. Pika 1.0: medium quality, you need image to video if you want good generations of people -> but there is a decent amount of movement -> really cool tools like video outpainting and inpainting Moonvalley: the model version 1 has really amazing motion and prompt understanding. -> however it's not that realistic looking -> the model version 2 is more realistic but loses a lot of the motion and movement -> their image to video features also aren't up to par compared to Runway and Pika Midjourney: this is only image generation right now, not video. But I do think it's the best Ai image generator. Idk what ML Gv2 is.
Totally stupid question but is it possible to create a private chat/direct message with moonvalley like pika labs when generating a video? Or prompting can only be done in the public rooms?

Moonvalley is amazing but I disagree with the fact that the prompts are always accurate. Sometimes, they just leave sht out. But a amazing tool though. I hope they will start having the ability to make longer videos soon.

Its very bad at handling detailed prompts or in many cases even basic prompts. If you look at Kaiber for example, its not as realistic as moonvalley, but its more accurate in its prompt output.

When I posted this video it was free, since then they have added a subscription service. I think Haiper Ai is a free alternative video generator right now.

Moonvalley is really good, in their roadmap it says they are actively working on image to video, so be on the lookout for that release.

I haven't seen many Ai video upscalers outside of Topaz, free upscalers are hard to find for Ai videos, but I can check and see.

Runway released some improvements in their video generation just 2 days ago. Do the runway samples come from the latest update ?
These videos clips are from 4-5 days ago so I don't think it's from the update 2 days ago. I'll check to see how much their videos improved.
