TSITP Season 2, Ep. 8 PREVIEW: Is Conrad going to bug out?!

The season two finale of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' is finally coming!!! It's bittersweet for fans and where we left Belly's brave hormones, Jeremiah's questioning hopefulness and Conrad's broken heart in the cliffhanger DO NOT HELP. Listen in as we attempt to guess how this love triangle forms, develops and maybe resolves? in Episode 8, aptly titled 'Love Triangle' - eeeek!!!
I get to watch it tomorrow, I’m dreading Conrad’s heart shattering into million pieces. I’ve read the spoiler on Reddit and I wish I hadn’t, but the events are not in chronological order. I predict Jenny Han will do a justice for both team Jelly and team Conrad fans when she reveals a time jump and cliffhanger/preview with an ambiguous ending to start off season 3. I predict episode 8 will start with, Conrad finishes his final and decides to confess his love to Belly and goes back to his dorm to get the infinity necklace and returns to his car-where he sees B + J kissing. (Flashback: Conrad standing by Jeremiah’s door and listening to Belly talk to him) Conrad says something sarcastic and Belly tries to talk him. He goes back to his dorm and packs up everything and keeps the necklace. Awkward drive with all three in the car, taking Belly home, but because of the bad weather they stay at a motel. Belly sleeps on the bed while Conrad and Jeremiah sleep on the floor. Conrad confesses his feelings to belly while Jeremiah is passed out. (Flashback: Belly and Susannah talking about Conrad) Belly is feeling hopeful about being with Conrad again, but in the morning, Conrad changes his mind and let’s Jeremiah be with Belly and Laurel ends up picking them up as Conrad drives his car back to the beach house. (Flashback of Belly and Laurel talking). The beach house is fully restored. Conrad leaves the necklace with Junior Mint in Belly’s room before leaving for Stanford. Time jump. Steven and Jeremiah are on the bleachers and watching Taylor and Belly’s volleyball game. And Conrad on the beach in the west coast and sees a couple from a far, reminding him of Belly or their past relationship. (Maybe Taylor swift’s happiness playing in the background) A snippet of Belly narrating her wedding day and opening ending with cliffhanger. Something like that, it’s a prediction.
Interesting broadcast. I have seen all of the episodes of Season 1 and 2. It’s seems to me that there is no way Belly can marry Jeremiah. She has already lost her virginity to Conrad. If Jeremiah and Bella were to marry and if Jeremiah was to learn that his brother had sex with her previous to their marriage all hell would break loose. In the third season there has to be a breakup between Jeremiah and Belly. In the 3 rd book it’s says that they were together for 2 years and never had sex. She was waiting for the right time. I guess their relationship was not that strong at all. I think the break up between Jeremiah and Belly has to be amicable. The had a heart to heart conversation and they both acknowledge that their relationship was not moving ahead. They parted ways on a positive note. This I believe would satisfy both Jeremiah and Conrad teams. I don’t want to hear the break up was due to infidelity on the part of Jeremiah. Hopefully my assessment is in the right direction.
Everyone knows that’s Jeremiah will be jealous and upset at Belly because she lost her virginity to Conrad. It’s Belly’s personal choice and her body, it’s not Jeremiah’s business-it doesn’t concern him! Their relationship will be over before it officially starts because Jeremiah is immature for being jealous of Belly & Conrad’s past and for being threatened by Conrad. Jeremiah and Conrad are brothers! These reasons are why Belly and Jeremiah shouldn’t be together at all. Conrad will always be Jeremiah’s older brother. Conrad will always set the standards for Belly’s upcoming boyfriends and/or lovers. Loving Belly isn’t a sport or competition! Belly isn’t anyone’s constellation prize!

So my hope being a Jelly fan is that Belly doesn't run after Conrad if he walks away angry instead Jeremiah does because if Belly run's after him than she's telling Jere again that Conrad is more important to her after she just told him the opposite. I want Jere and Conrad to have a conversation where Jere explains that his been holding back his feelings over the past week and it wasn't un till Belly said they were just friends that he decided to kiss her. After the conversation Conrad says its ok you can be with her like Jere did for him. Then we get a time jump to July 4th weekend when everyone is back at the beach house but Conrad doesn't show up because its to hard for him. The season ends with Jere driving Belly back home after the 4th of July weekend where a Taylor Swift song is playing and you see Conrad trying to move on with another girl he met at Stanford. I really hope they don't do a 2 year time jump because I actually want to see Jere and Belly date and I also hope they change the story and they don't break up because of Jere cheating on her. I believe in the book Belly didn't sleep with Conrad un till they got married so maybe they change that with Jere and Belly too.

Just catching up on this episode - can you tell me where the scene is you refer to when Conrad is outside the door and overhears Jere and Belly talking? I can’t find it! TIA!
We haven't seen it yet either. There was a promo pic that was posted. So we thought we might get to see it in season two. Now we're thinking it may be used as a season 3 flashback :)
I think Conrad is going to get the necklace and have it on him. Once Belly stops Conrad to try and talk to to him she’s going to see it at some point.
So opposite the books where Conrad sees it on her.
I think this will confuse belly and then eventually get us to the motel where Conrad makes the decision.

@GinoGonzalez12 I think what you are saying is a great possibility, but being a team Jeremiah fan I hope not because then the whole I want you part that just happened means absolutely nothing.
@@Bmoney8605 as someone who is team Conrad but didn’t like how the 3rd book did my boy Jer… i get where you are coming from. That’s why I think belly will just be confused by seeing it if it does happen. I still think she will end up with Jeremiah at the end of the season but that unresolved feeling about Conrad will be the focal point in season 3. Basically I want team Conrad to win fair and square.
@@GinoGonzalez12I can see that totally happening. As someone who hasn't read any of the books but does know what happens I hope they don't do Jere as dirty as they did in the book like you said. According to Jenny Han she had to make one of the brothers the bad guy so when Belly finally chooses who to be with it their wouldn't be a big up roar about it, but everyone knows it was totally out of character for Jere. It is nice to actually have a conversation with someone on the other side who can see both sides of the story like I do. It's refreshing
@@Bmoney8605 SAME! I just hope Jenny doesnt let Belly be the bad person as well. its tough. Thats why traingles are so difficult to write. The one thing i do know is its just going to pain from here on out.
@@GinoGonzalez12 Yea I don't anyone to be the bad person but like you said its hard to write love triangles, especially ones where both teams are equally liked or close to equal. I just want them to end this season with Jere and Belly happy together and not a what if with Conrad.
