A W900A with VIT Diamond Tuck interior was my favourite truck back in the day... still is in fact! Good luck on the build! IMO you should keep it as original as possible and not stretch it, no one did back when this truck was new.
Take abunch of old license plats if you can find enough for your floor .8 ball shifter handle and a little box of toothpicks somewhere and an old dirty magazine under the mattress to remember when trucking was fun
This thing is gonna be sweet, that paint is amazing. The ideas are spot on, better suspension, lil stretch, drop the front end down, I’d personally do a 15 against the dash for period correctness, tapered bumper with the flaps on the corners and swing plate in the middle, all and all no matter what it’ll look better than most of the trucks that were at MATS
Im pleased you popped up on my Tiktok I do love how over there you can run old stuff too, over here in the UK it seems to be if the truck is over 5 years old we have to update. My 1999 ERF is more than capable of working but the laws we have just make it hard.
You got all the right ideas for this old truck . Might want to check out frame rails around the motor mounts . ESPECIALLY on left side as the old KT's and V-8's were known to crack out bolt holes cus of the torque .
U can get an decent price for that old 8 bag suspension & that other swap of the newer suspension is an PACCAR suspension which BOTH KW & PETE offer jst different part numbers. U can also sell the 6" Stacks also

A model kenworths are in my opinion the classiest older trucks on the road when u see them out on the supper slab. An they need to still work to get seen an respected. Just my opinion.
7 bars in the grille please. 5 bars aren’t enough. If you have to just put the center one in. Langs old 82 looked pretty good with one. Frame definitely needs a stretch. An the nose needs to stop bleeding. Square bumper with tanker lights on the lower corner and tanker porch lights. Replace missing buttons. Make the kitty purr again. 15 double over would be proper. But I understand. It’s gonna be a Bitchin ride!!

Everybody wants an old-school truck they buy one they rip it in half. They put Peterbilt parts on the Kenworth then they slam it down the ground like a Puerto Rican just might just take it to cross yard and crush it if you don’t like an old truck for what it is and you don’t like old trucks.

An old chicken slinger on top would kinda cool . Pair of the old fat fuel tanks . Couldn't tell if those were the original ones on there or not
