As if the mandalorians couldn’t win that fight, Paz killed all of those jet pack troopers then it’s 20 Mando’s vs 3 Pretorians. Or dark sabre through the front blast door to save mando during gideons Ted talk. 2 bad moves from the mandalore already

17:18 Blasters don't use ammunition, but rather a power-cell, giving them essentially unlimited ammunition once the cell is inserted. However, as to what happened to Paz' minigun, they do overheat if you continuously fire it for too long, which will melt the weapon
That sucker was red hot when he dropped it. That actually happened in real life. Back in the day I knew a local police officer who was a Vietnam combat vet. He told me that some nights they fired their mortars so much the base plates were glowing red. I've also read stories about the destroyer pickets around Okinawa, stationed to intercept kamikaze attacks. They were firing their 5" guns so much sailors were spraying cold water on the guns to cool them down.
@@Caseytify Same thing happens with high ROF guns. That history inspired James Cameron's use of automated point defense systems in ALIENS and their barrels overheating.
Generally speaking blaster weapons do have limitations of energy, they're just vastly higher than the magazine capacity of Earth's analogue weaponry and rarely play into the stuff we see onscreen. In most lore, they were rechargeable just as a magazine is refillable, but blaster packs, power packs, were definitely a thing. More constraining was tibanna gas (what Cloud City mining operations were harvesting) which were part of blaster technology. I have no idea where any of this sits in the current canon, though. I don't own any post-Lucas books aside from Catalyst.

Disney Plus has an "Ahsoka Tano Essential Episodes" playlist in the Star Wars section - that's probably the best prep watchlist for anyone who doesn't have the time to blow through 11 seasons of Clone Wars & Rebels. In Mary's case, as much as I'd love to see the reaction, hopefully she at least binges the playlist itself just to get up to speed.
One thing that I like about this season is that it shows Bo Katan slowly earning back the respect of the Mandalorian people and proving to everyone, including herself, that she is a good leader and that she deserves to be the leader of the Mandalorian people.
I think the title was intended to be misleading; I don't think any of the Mandalorians, including the Armorer, are traitors. The Empire destroyed their world, that's not something they're just going to overlook for a good payout. And tbh I wouldn't be too surprised if Thrawn makes a gift of Gideon to Bo-Katan. Considering what Thrawn's higher purpose is, he may well decide that she and her Mandalorian survivors make better allies than the deceitful Gideon.
He didn't ran out of ammo or in this case gas for the plasma bolts the repeater overheated to the point that it became useless it was almost completely molten when he dropped it so he probably sustained severe burns in his hands as well and yet he continued fighting to the bitter end at the hands of the feared Pretorian Guard which used to be the Emperor's bodyguards.
RIP Paz. Can not wait for the last episode. Pellion is in the books in the '90s as Thawn's right hand. I hope the new Republic could show up to help out.
This was a really cool episode, but I’m definitely sad about Paz’s sacrifice. His role is one of the highlights of this season. This is the Way. Since they mentioned Thrawn’s return, I’m gonna have to check out the animated shows as well. Over the weekend, aside from Ahsoka, they also announced that Skeleton Crew will arrive later this year. I don’t know how many episodes it has, but the series was directed by Jon Watts - the director of the MCU Spider-Man trilogy. Next year, we’re also getting The Acolyte. Dafne Keen, best known for portraying Laura in Logan 2017, is among the cast. I only know that her character is a Jedi, and the story takes place about a century before Phantom Menace. We’re also expecting a second season of Andor - the prelude series tied to Rogue One starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor. There were plans to make up to five seasons, but after some extensive reviewing they decided that the second season will conclude the show.
Just an fyi the Ashoka show is basically live action rebels season 5. I’ll admit the first season of rebels can be hard to get into but 3 and 4 are some of the best star wars has to offer
My problem with Andor is the same as Rouge One; everyone dies. At least we know the protagonist will, by the time of Rouge One. Which is sad, as it's the best written & performed of the Disney Star Wars movies.
They're in Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith as well, they're the emperor's royal guard, renamed obviously after he stumbled and fell down the stairs

Also, the Imperials on Mandalore look much like the Imperial Mandalorians from the Rebels series, including the more miniature curved jet packs.

As soon as Praetorian Guard showed up I knew Vizla won't survive. It is very hard to defeat them even for a Jedi master. Even Bo Katan or Din would not stand a chance. For Vizla this is the best way to go out as a mando, his ancestors died defending Bo Katans sister and were the guys who made the dark saber. That is the reason Bo Katan didn't want to abandon Paz Vizla.
My only problem with this episode was that the fight in the cavern was such an obvious lure to a trap, even I suspected it. They should have figured out that Imperial forces would never just lie in wait and attack unless they knew they had the upper hand. Once they started retreating, somebody should have said, "This is too easy."

That's my predictions, Bo is "The Mandalorian" moving forward. While I love Bo and Katie It just won't be the same without Din 😑
Hey, remember those dragon/bird hatchlings that Mandalorians took in a few episodes back? They were about the same size as the food they had roasting on the spit for that "getting to know you" feast, right?
I'm actually not a fan of Mof G, I hope he is defeated by the mandalorians in the next episode, escapes, and then is killed by Thrawn. This would set Thrawn up as a great bad guy.
No way that's skinny Pete!? Also think the Armorer is a follower of Gideon, made Bo the leader even tho she isn't part of the creed...but also the episode is called The Spies which we nvr rly found out who that was besides the girl at the beginning

hey maybe he survives you never know could show up in next episode to save the day
My 4 year old nice gets on like a stroppy teen at times so Grogu is no exception
From everything we've heard lately about Din... I've got a bad feeling that he's going to die in the finale, going out in a blaze of glory and the last words he hears are Grogu's first words... That's my predictions, Bo is "The Mandalorian" moving forward. While I love Bo and Katie It just won't be the same without Din 😑
Bo already is the mandolorian on this show, Din is just her sidekick, wouldnt really matter if he died
Long live the Empire
Soo Cooi , I mean Mof Gideon is a Boss Badguy😈.Love/Hate the Guy and Nooooo!..RIP Big Boi😭🙏❤️❤️(Visalia)? I Think
Can't wait for Ragnar Vizla's story
the whole Vizla family is just there to be jerks and then die
I’d like someone to explain what in this season was filler? Like how? There was AT MOST, just as much filler in this season as the first season.
I have a feeling the Armour might be a spy and working for Moff Gideon. Something about her this episode felt off.
And moff gideon's helmet seems got some horns just like armour as well
Ring a bell?🤔
Blood must be spilled for paz😠
yes no yes no no yes Lol
Hey, remember those dragon/bird hatchlings that Mandalorians took in a few episodes back? They were about the same size as the food they had roasting on the spit for that "getting to know you" feast, right?
long live ragnar‼️ (paz son)
I'm actually not a fan of Mof G, I hope he is defeated by the mandalorians in the next episode, escapes, and then is killed by Thrawn. This would set Thrawn up as a great bad guy.
No way that's skinny Pete!? Also think the Armorer is a follower of Gideon, made Bo the leader even tho she isn't part of the creed...but also the episode is called The Spies which we nvr rly found out who that was besides the girl at the beginning
