Yay, another video!! You are such an inspiration! I've been struggling with having so many passions lately, with art and creativity and apps and websites and books. I'm getting my ideas faster than I can build them and it's been really difficult to try and juggle.
thanks, really appreciate it🙏🙏 and thats honestly a good problem to have lol but it's probably hard to choose and stick to just one of them. i'd just take it one thing at a time, can always circle back to the others later.
Really good points on chasing passion and all the different "doors" that are available to us, really enjoyed that part of the vid. Honestly I think you've nailed it, I think it's just a point of figuring ourselves out which could primarily come by peeking behind each door for a specific time interval and seeing where we find and enjoy ourselves most before hard-committing to a specific "door". I also do agree with you that it's better to be doing something we're not 100% sure about over not doing anything at all or just sitting there overthinking of choosing the right "door". I think that actually doing something and then allowing these thoughts e.g the thought of "choosing the right door" to come to mind and allow us to re-think about everything is crucial. If everyone instantly knew which "door" was right for them then I don't think we'd have this little percentage of successful/fairly wealthy people - well at least in the real world and not on instagram/tiktok where every other dude is a "millionaire". That's just my view though - I'm pretty much in the same situation as you are so these vids definitely come in handy when it comes to developing this part of my though process and actually unfolding things. Keep up the good content!
exactly, it's way too easy to overthink things and just end up not doing anything. it's good to think about if it's the right "door" for you, but probably not the best to get too obsessed over it because right when something gets hard you might just write it off and convince yourself it wasn't for you. Weird thing to balance lol. As long as you're consistently improving and learning new skills, you won't regret that. And chances are, whatever path you're on, it'll just lead you to your next one which you wouldn't have gotten to otherwise. and thanks for the support bro, it really does mean a lot 🙌🏼 comments like these always put a smile on my face
this is exactly what I was looking for, 23:07 being a full-stack developer myself It's just not exciting anymore, and I'm already out there searching for passion
yeah it’s a garbage feeling lol, i honestly feel like i went to school just because it was the thing you were “supposed” to do, definitely not because i wanted to. the only way i can enjoy web dev is if im building out my own visions, working at a company like a robot is just so draining. but also something i’ve learned is that life ebbs and flows so the passion might come back up, but even if it doesn’t, you learned what you don’t want to do, which is just as important as finding what you do like to do. it’s just important to keep trying new things until something really resonates.
damn bro that's my bad, I didn't switch anything up I usually just let youtube handle that. i'll double check the placements cause you def shouldn't be getting 8+. that's just crazy 😭
How do you deal with the feeling that AI is catching up? Like everytime I go on RUclips it's "Build a $1million SaaS in one prompt" and reddit is full of people prompting apps and I'm sat here for hours carefully building things and it kinda feels like this might be a waste of time.
honestly it can get demotivating for sure, because the reality is, even if AI can’t do it perfect right now, it sure as hell will eventually lol. but all of those posts with those titles are mostly either an ad for their own products, or trying to rinse you in their course funnels lol. it still takes a lot more work even with the app built, marketing it, and actually selling it, is a completely different skill set. I also think it will be awhile before we can rely on AI completely, so for now it’s just best to use it as a tool to make you more efficient. you’ll still learn really valuable skills building something out and trying to scale it.
love the concept of project 70! self-motivation is definitely one of the hardest especially when you're solo. I've been keeping myself accountable via filming my progress - if I have no progress, then I have nothing to post haha 🥲
exactly, that's one of the good things about weekly uploads, you HAVE to get something done lol. we gotta plan a trip w/ the solo focus discord eventually (when i'm not broke lol), would be so sweet to get a nice villa somewhere and just work/chill
what a intro 🔥🔥🔥 Every video going to crazy 👏👏👏
appreciate you brother 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Are you finding that it is tougher to build an "app" or a business?
business is the hard part for sure. relatively easy to build something, but selling/marketing is a totally different game lol
Hey man, usually love the vids but 8+ ads was extremely annoying to get through this time 😢
