I'm so happy you enjoyed this painting so much and wow you are fast at diamond painting but as you said every one has a different take on a painting/company. I was interested to hear your review of this painting and it differs a lot from my experience. I had a lot more trash drills and I was very disappointed in their colours especially in the lighthouse beam which is very peachy. I have done other Jody Bergsam paintings from other companies and their colours were spot on. I love Jody's paintings and I felt this fell short of representing her work. I look forward to more of your videos which I alway enjoy.
Thanks Sueze! It's always interesting to hear what others think about the same kits. I have also worked on one or two kits from Jody from other shops and definitely preferred their rendering. I may have been a little swayed on this one since I love otters lol but it was still fun to work on.
Thanks, Laura. It seems to me that sometimes DD rendering for rounds turns out smooth and other times blocky. I'm not good yet at predicting which that will be. Did you know before your purchases that it would be less smooth than you'd like but that the image was worth it to you anyway?💜🦦💜
Based on the size of the kit I had a feeling it wouldn't be the best. To me the image was worth taking the chance. I do think based on the size it turned out pretty well, but definitely would have been clearer if it was larger in size. I was purposefully looking for something smaller to work on so I wasn't too fussed about it not being the clearest.
