I’m working on this kit as well and have noticed the glue issue. I have so many drills fly up when I’m just trying to adjust them. I’m also working on Freya that I got on a recent restock and the glue is so awful. It’s super frustrating. Im also working on an older DAC and the glue is a dream, no issues at all.

I love the book talk and the diamond talk. I don’t really nearly as much as I used to, but I still read every day. Usually 15-20 minutes and then I fall asleep. But I love hearing what others are reading or want to read.. and I usually add a few books to my growing wishlist. Also, my car has been due for inspection for.. well just say awhile. And it’s totally me putting it off because I remember the days, way back when, and my car failed because the driver’s side window would fall down on its own accord 😂. Funny, the things we carry with us even as we’re older.

Love both those canvases. I have many DAC that are cozy Christmas size so I did not purchase it. My plan for this year is to work on my stash. I have so many paintings that I want to do Happy Happy New Year to You Laura. I have watched this channel from the beginning, and it is my favorite to date. Happy New Year Laura and Steven! Fun little surprise bonus at the end of this video. I was thinking about your calendar diamond painting and thought I would suggest that you could pre-"paint" the main colour (January = white on the full snowman) and then just painting the extra / accent details with us. Would still show the full diamond painting, but wouldn't take up as much of your filming time. You could start with and update of birthdays, move to the pre-printed monthly canvas and pull the plastic sheet, show us your pen choice and then cut to painting the details. Long winded - should have PM'ed you! Haha. Anyway, happy to hear some book content and the catch up. Fun! Thanks for all you do. Cheers to 2025!

Here in Michigan we don’t have to safety check our cars. I did own an old car once and the brake line and gas line went out in two separate instances. Totally terrifying but nothing bad happened. I love the birthday shoutout idea! I can’t remember what else I was going to say! 😬
